“I put off a remodel for years based on all the stories of delays, cost overages and headaches. This last year it was time to bite the bullet and do the entire house; yes, the kitchen, both bathrooms, all the floors, walls, scrape the popcorn ceilings, all new doors trim and baseboards, new lighting and fans, carpet and tile out and vinyl plank flooring in. A good friend came to me highly recommending Mark and his crew at CKBB. I called and he responded. The minute he walked into my home I knew this was a guy I liked and would enjoy working with – he was just real. He and I went through every foot of my home and I described everything I dreamed of doing with him taking notes in every room. Mark was quick to tell me he could do everything exactly as I had dreamed but he was also quick to caution me on a few of my design thoughts and gave me some alternatives based on his years of experience. A bid followed quickly and I was elated to sign giving the go-ahead on my dream remodel. Work started right on time and the wife and I quickly got to know the crew. Dave, Ed and Jason were just fantastic and there was no doubt they wanted us happy no matter what. They respected our home and proved to be trustworthy and dependable. The project went from demo to rebuild quickly and we had our share of hiccups but Mark and his crew were always ready to listen and quickly respond. There was a lot of hand holding and talking me off the edge but Mark and Jean were always ready to listen and quick to respond with advice and solutions. Honestly I don’t think I ever had to leave a voice message – Mark answered his phone every time I called. Mark proved that the true worth of a contractor is not found when everything is going as planned; it’s found when things are off track or you need some reassurance and experience to lean on. Mark provided all of this while juggling a number of other projects and deadlines. Mark had us back in our home right on schedule and the job actually finished a week early. Is a remodel fun – definitely not but with Mark (Custom Kitchens, Bath and Beyond) you can rest in the confidence that they will make your satisfaction their top priority. Looking back to our first meeting and remembering what I initially asked for and now seeing the finished project I see a lot of what I wanted and a good bit of what Mark recommended and the wife and I just couldn’t be happier. We’ve got our dream home along with a friend who has a company I wouldn’t hesitate to call on again. Quality, workmanship, dependability, experience, trustworthiness, dedication to excellence and friendliness are all ways I would describe Custom Kitchens, Bath and Beyond. “We hired Classic Kitchens & Bath (Saint Petersburg) to renovate our townhouse, specifically, the kitchen and two bathrooms. The project included demolition, as well as installation of all tile, cabinets, fixtures, plumbing, lighting etc. Sonia and Yanko and their guys were all a real pleasure to work with! Not only do they do quality work, they are very responsive to questions, concerns and ideas. I ordered a lot of things myself, and they always made them work, even when it was my fault there was a problem. When we needed to make a decision, he gave me good advice, and let me decide. They were kind and helpful as I worked to coordinate with other professionals (flooring in the rest of the house, glass bath enclosure). Yanko was also willing to handle extra small jobs as we went along (like installing a couple extra doors and finishing some baseboard installation) at a fair price, which saved me the hassle of finding someone else to come in and do them. All the guys were really polite, and they cleaned up after the work every day, it was a pleasure to have them around. A small company, made up of good people. This is the second time I've worked with Sonia, and I would absolutely do it again.”
