“I moved into a Hollywood Hills home after being stuck in the Valley since 1989. My house was built in the 1930’is and not much on the house was very practical and usable. Bathrooms to small. Kitchen in an odd shape. No central AC. Walls, ceiling windows and doors not insulated. So i decided to completely remodel and add an addition to my house. Before calling Josef, I tried a calling a couple other companies first, but they were non-responsive. So I called Josef Veis with Focus Craft. The first time I called him he picked up the phone and scheduled a meeting right away. When he came to my house he recommended that we get his Surveyor involved cause to determine the property line. Right after that his Architect was brought on board permits were filed and shortly after the project begun. I had to move out from my house for six months. Everything was removed to the studs except some original details that were here since the 30’is and gave the house a unique old Hollywood feel. We opened up walls moved the kitchen to merge it with the Living room area. The kitchen made my place the perfect place to entertain and cook for my friends and Family. We put the addition on the back of the house to make my Master Bathroom and Bedroom bigger and in the more quite section of the house. All I can say that I am living in my dream home and I am very thankful to Josef and his team for making it possible. I can recommend him to anybody that wants to build their dream home.”

“Ronnie Gor was the designer for our major remodel project in Tarzana, CA. The work covered a complete remodel of a 70 year-old, ranch-style home and construction of an attached ADU. There are inherent challenges in adding to an older home and creating a seamless whole. Ronnie was up to the task. and willingly worked with our own (me and husband) creative vision through the process. Aside from an overall look and flow, the house could have no unnecessary elevation changes, and no obvious distinction between the old and the new. The design must consider the lot the house is on and address our needs, tastes and budget. Ronnie shone in all areas. The result is a modern home with unique characteristics in both design and function. It is a single structure which, by the closing of a single door, creates two separate and entirely independent homes. Neither infringing on the other. Both are spacious, receive endless natural light, have all the amenities, and each boasting its own two-car garage. Ronnie Gor can fairly be credited with an outstanding job.”

“It was a great pleasure to work with John and Advanced Building. They are incredibly professional, detailed, organized and patient. Everyone on staff provided a very high-quality of service. We had our old house demolished and rebuilt from scratch. 3500 sq ft 4 bathrooms and 4 bedrooms. We have been working with our Designer and Architect for over a year making the house perfect and it was finally time to have it built. We found Advanced Building by recommendation from the designer. It took 9 months for the house to be built. We were part of the process through each step and they kept our family updated with each phase. Great communication. Job sites were always clean, secure and active. Fun for the kids to watch from a distance. We are very happy with the quality of work, craftsmanship quality and highly recommended. “I have been living In Mar-vista CA/West LA area for over 30 years. My house is about 3,000 Square feet and I have procrastinated renovating it for a very long time. I was very concerned with finding a reputable construction company as I heard so many horror stories related to this industry. I was so lucky to be referred to “kofler design build” by a close friend I trusted very much. I met with Asaf, and with no time my worries fated away. He asked me all the right questions, took notes and open my eyes to the possibilities at hand. What I liked most was that he wasn’t pushy in any fashion and told me to take my time and think things through. My main focus was on the kitchen, flooring, master bath and powder room. Within two days, Asaf emailed me a detailed proposal that fully explained the project. He of course included the total price as well as a fair stage payment process. I called him up and told him “Let’s do it”. He sent me all the documents to review and had me signed them via DocSign, at my own privacy, which was another very comforting factor. (Especially after having a guy from a different company that wouldn’t leave until I signed his contract – Terrible) After several days we met with his amazing cabinet maker to work on the kitchen design and schedule the official start date. A week later demolition started. I never imagine anyone paying so much attention to cover walls, floors, doors etc.. before the they start demolition. His crew finished all the demolition, haul away and cleaning up in one day! (WOW) The crew members and his foreman were at the house every day at 7:45 am, waiting to come in at 8:00 am sharp. The work was professional and the attention to detail was remarkable. Cabinets came out better than I thought. We had one issue with the counter tops, where the island counter broke. Asaf took care of it right away and three days later they came back to install a new one, no questions asked. Asaf Helped me with all the fixtures selection and was able to save me quite a bit of money on most of them including all the tiles. One thing I really appreciated was the fact that each day about 20/30 minutes before they finished for the day, his workers stopped everything and clean-up the work area. I am very sensitive to dust and so I found this incredibly thoughtful. The project was done in just under six weeks about a week before schedule. I don’t have much experience in renovating so it’s hard for me to compare this company to other companies, but I can most definitely say that my experience exceeded my expectations and was very, very good!
