“We have had two major projects completed with the Alberino Team within 5 years! The first job was an extensive remodel and reconfiguring of a 1956 home to update and give the place a new look and feel with custom features throughout. The second job was pretty much a complete gutting of the entire home including all plumbing, electric, furnace, ducts, insulation, etc. after fire and water damaged the property. Joe Alberino and his fellow team member, Dan, are wonderful tradesmen and both made many beautiful custom pieces for our home. The company tradesmen are up to date on installing all the latest trends as well as being equipped to restore historical work on older homes. They will stay in your discussed budget and give you an accurate timeline. We hired them twice due to the workmanship and professionalism. They work well as a team and their many years working together shows in the way they get the job completed within the timeframe discussed.”

“We hired Dover Home Remodelers for a basement project 9 years ago. We had a vague idea of what we wanted to do with our basement and Dover's professionals really showed us what we could get out of it. We were able to add another full bathroom, a kitchenette, a new laundry room and plenty of space for our growing family. What we really enjoyed about working with Dover was that they spelled everything out ahead of time, they met their deadlines and budgets, and when they ran into difficulties they worked with us to actually improve upon the original design. It has been 9 years but we still get nothing but complements on our remodel project. We cannot recommend their work enough.”

“Hurst has done two remodels for us. The first was in 2006 and included a complete kitchen remodel including granite countertops, wood floors and all upscale appliances. The wall between the kitchen and dining room was taken out and the dining room was made twice the original size with an addition that included changing the roof line, new beams, tray ceiling with lighted crown molding and bay window with bench seat including storage. The wood floors continued from the kitchen. A bedroom was added on the lower level under the dining room addition. We were and are very happy with the work and especially the workmanship. The attention to detail on the part of all the workman meant the finished dining room addition and kitchen are beautiful to look at and functional and fun to use. Our second project with Hurst was in 2008 when we updated all the bathrooms with beautiful granite, tile, new sinks, faucets and hardware. The shower was torn out completely and rebuilt as a walk-in shower which we love. Grab bars and a perfect shower floor for safety are wonderful and the plumber located the shower controls so that you don't have to step in to the shower to turn it on. Again, we appreciated the leader of the project and all the attention to detail. The young plumber was fantastic! Hurst has done several small outside jobs for us including pouring new entryway steps and adding railings. We are just ready to put our home on the market as we are moving West to be closer to all our grandchildren. We will miss all these wonderful improvements but know they will really add value to our home and make it desireable in the "sea of homes" on the market! We have recommended Hurst to our friends and recently saw a kitchen granite countertop job that our friends are very pleased with and it looks fantastic. “This review covers two projects, the first in 2014 and the second in 2015. 1)Totally new bathroom, including demolition of old walls, floor, ceiling, and removal of old fixtures at the beginning. New infrastructure (wiring, pipes, installation,) installed by the Beard Group electricians and plumbers, and new walls, ceiling, and floor by Beard Group carpenter and tile setters. Our house was built in 1925. The Beard Group has extensive experience and sensitivity to period details in working with Cleveland and Shaker Heights homes from the Arts and Crafts era. All work was of the highest quality, full attention to every small detail. The Beard Group designer guided us in the selection of wall and floor tile, contrasting tile border, color scheme, fixtures, lighting, and decorative details. The staff are highly skilled, pleasant, responsible, and attentive to detail. We enjoyed meeting them and having them in our house. They clean up thoroughly every day. There is good communication through e-mail and texts regarding schedule. The project manager arranged city permits and inspections. We got the estimate in October, and work began in March. It was well worth the wait for such a wonderful outcome. We especially love the tile installation on walls, floor, and shower niche, which are also admired by everyone who sees the new bathroom. 2)The following year, 2015, we contracted with the Beard Group for a complete demolition and remodeling of the kitchen and powder room. Once again we had an outstanding project result, which included optimized spaces for both rooms. All aspects of the design and construction work were excellent, and we have great appreciation for the quality of the design and trades work. The designers were very patient with us as we often took some time to select materials and cabinets. They understood our preference for maintaining the Craftsman period style, but infused with an updated sensibility that has received rave reviews from our friends and family. We have a great respect for all of the Beard Group staff and sincere appreciation for the quality of work performed. One friend, highly experienced with historic preservation, described the new kitchen as a "triumph of design and beauty."”

“Mike and his team did an outstanding job on three rooms in my home!! Kitchen, dining room and mud room. Mike's attention to the smallest detail along with fine craftsmanship were apparent in every aspect of the job. From painting, inlaying a tile floor, putting in cabinetry, to restructuring walls, all applications were perfectly installed and created . The cleaning up each and every day was amazing. He cleaned up better than when I left it and I never had to worry about breathing dust and wood particles as well as not being able to track materials back into other living spaces as areas were cleverly sectioned off, or protected. He got there on time each and every morning to work. He was conscientious and honest about my budget and took my money concerns seriously and proactively. He communicated with me if there was anything else taking precedence over my job and arranged times to continue and stick to the timeline. “We used Mike from Artisans Design Group to remodel our kitchen, breakfast area and relocate the entrance from the garage. Mike is very creative, thinks out of the box, has very competent employees(which were great to have in the house) and above all, they are great craftsman. The work took as long as Mike originally stated, about two and a half months. Because Mike got me to move out of my comfort zone, the kitchen is really great! We even have a coffee bar in an unused space above the stair well! Grays, whites and antqiue chandeliers where never in my original plan. I had no question as to who I was going to use in the kitchen as we used Artisan for a back splash/hood in our previous home and Artisan rebuilt our neighbor's older back sun porch and when completed, looked like a major room in the house with so much more style The bathrooms are next!!”
