“The first project we hired them for was to build a screened in porch (2006). Attention to detail is what impressed us the most. Not a corner was cut and they took their time to make sure it was done right. Then we hired them to remodel our guest bathroom (2006). We have a house that was built in 1928 and he was able to solve the problems that arose to update the house. Next, we had had a renovation nightmare from a prior contractor and in 2010, we hired VV Contracting again to come and completely rebuild the entire front of our house. Support beams were rotted and he re-supported our second floor and re-faced it. It feels more solid and stable than it ever has. Now, in 2012, we have hired them again to redo our daughters bathroom and our master bathroom.”

“Back in 2008 I had a life changing accident as a result of ladder fall I lost the use of my legs. First thing, my friends huddled around me for moral support Dale Contant was there for me. He understood the predicament I was in because of his experience with his brother in the Army who was involved in a helicopter accident serving in Afghanistan. His brother also suffered a spinal cord injury. Dale knew better what I needed than I did concerning my living conditions now as a disabled person. Dale sprung into action to get my home accessible. Him and Fred Bailey and so many others came to my rescue. Dale put the plans together and made the necessary blueprints for Shepherd Center review. Shepherd Center was to be my home for over two months. The Occupational Therapist could not believe the set of plans produced for my project produced by Dale and his company. The OT's are not used to such detail and quality drawings. Dale Contant of Atlanta Design & Build is no less than an angel to me and my family. Dale did not have to do what he did. He was never asked, but knew I needed help. I think back now and what I went through and though it's a time I wish to forget and an accident I wish that never happened. I was and am so blessed to have friends like Dale Contant. I am sorry that I have not made the world more aware of the goodness of this person and so many others that have enriched my life as a result of my fall. This is like a story nobody ever hears about. “A great company. Their bids might be slightly higher than other contractors, BUT as we know in life you get what you pay for. I would classify R&R as the high end builder/renovator of our area. No job is too hard or out of their skill level. Very skilled carpenters.”

“I'm the Vice President of my subdivisions HOA board. We had a major leak in our clubhouse bathroom. The leak happened in the wall and turned into a rupture. Water fooded the bathroom which over flowed into the common area. Drywall, bathroom stalls, vanity, and carpet in the common area needed replaced and rehabilitated. Eric from Guinness Construction did an incredible job and gave us added value where he was able to save money and put it to better use in upgrades. His pricing was fair, the work was done on time and with high quality. This is also the reason we used him again when we had another ruptured line a few months later but this time in the kitchenette. The outdoor hose bib was not insulated and came into the building in the wall behind the kitchen cabinets. This line ruptured. The water only ran for a few hours. The damage wasn't as bad as in the bathroom but cabinets had to be replaced as did the flooring and some drywall. Eric again delivered on time and quality work. We will use him in further work and have recommended his service to our residences.”
