There were many homes available to choose from at the time, but this home stood out clearly above the rest because of it’s quality and craftsmanship throughout the unique custom design. Craig was able to create an enclave complete with wet bar, full bathroom, a conference room and office area with two private decks and a garage for my bikes. He was able to surgically remove the roof above the existing 4-car garage and build the new addition into the home so that after completion it looked like it was always part of the original house. It was very important for me to work with the builder who created the extraordinary home I chose, but I was even more impressed when I had the opportunity to work with Craig on my addition. “It was an absolute pleasure working with Rhi McG from conception to completion. I joke with Rhiannon that she helped me totally Rhi-Imagine my kitchen, but it is true. Mine was a total renovation and I had ideas of how I wanted my kitchen to look, but did not see a clear path for getting there. I thought we would be stuck with replacing cabinets and appliances in the existing foot print, but she was able to offer different design scenarios that looked great, functioned well and made economic sense. She did a great job of designing the layout and selecting the materials that transformed the space from a rustic feel to a modern, sleek, working kitchen. Throughout the process she did a great job of communicating expectations and schedules clearly, coordinating the various trades and course correcting when necessary. I would absolutely recommend Rhi McG to anyone who is looking for a partner that combines creativity, strong communications and the ability to execute. “Building a custom home was not something that seemed like a realistic option until we began working with Mitch Goldman and Apex Homes. Our story started with a small piece of land – actually, a side-yard to an existing home – and has ended with a beautiful home in the Highlands. Mitch led the charge, every step of the way. He found the land and worked as our broker, developed a realistic budget, introduced us to a highly regarded architect, managed the city permit process, and of course oversaw the complete build with an “A Team” of subcontractors. We're now in the process of working with Apex a second time around to build another house in Platt Park. Bottom line: Mitch is a true pro. He has a unique ‘sixth sense’ when it comes to real estate and development. Highly recommend.”

I'm a design and construction professional with a long history in the commercial building business and now a retired architect and contractor. In 2002, I chose Bill to provide his residential building expertise during the design phase of our home (invaluable) and manage the construction so I could focus on being the client. His attention to detail and problem solving skills are on display in our completed home. To best understand his involvement in our project was the he was building "his home" and this is the level of personal attention you want from your home builder. The result was a fine custom home, with well executed details that was complete "on time and within our budget". We used Bill again to complete unfinished spaces in the home a number of years later. Bill continues to check in with us to insure all is well in our home. He's always welcome here! Home construction began October 2002 and completion June 2003.”
