“We engaged Creative Build Interior Design right after we started our new construction. We have been working with designer Melissa for kitchen design, color (exterior and interior) selection, vanity selection, light fixture, tile design/selection, hardware selection and etc. for the whole house. Melissa has provided very professional and valuable advice during the whole project and made our life much easier. She quickly helped us to find out our style (we often do not realize what we really like) and found something that fits our style and also in the right trend. We become more and more rely on Melissa's taste and advice. Melissa always stays on top of things and does things in the right order. She is very passionate about the work and often goes beyond the initial scope of the work to make sure that we get all the advise we need. The house turns out to be great and we reality love it! We received a lot of compliments from all the people who worked there and friends who stopped by. Everyone told me that they like the colors, kitchen, lights and everything. The house looks elegants and different from the spec houses on the market. “I consider Diversified a design team, as well as a top sub-contractor, who not only identify the right construction solutions but understand a project from an architectural, engineering, and interior design perspective. I have employed Diversified to provide me with all three services, architectural plans, engineering work (including obtaining obtaining permits) and subcontracting work. Diversified does a good job in holding the subcontractors accountable that work is done well and on time. They ensure subs work in concert with one another so there are relatively few lapses in work as compared to other firms. I have not been stuck with a punch list that takes months to address. They address issues and problems right away. My level of satisfaction is so high, I have hired Diversified to work on two different houses. The first time I have ever hired a contractor more than once. The work on my first home was so well done and had such a positive impact on our curb appeal, the house was sold in 3 days! I employed them the second time when I needed a firm who could move quickly in making my fixer upper move in ready (they even helped me out in the aftermath or Super storm Sandy). While the work may be a tad more expensive, it was worth the extra investment to make sure the end product was well done. I absolutely recommend Diversified.”

“Jon and Mark Pappalardi built a very impressive gunite swimming pool with a water park grade slide in my backyard and professionally landscaped my entire property. In addition to the gunite pool, a large Cambridge paver patio was built to accommodate our outdoor furniture and dining areas. A multi tiered Moss Rock waterfall cascades through the landscape and slide and into the gunite pool. They also redesigned my driveway including a paver walkway and a Cultured Stone retaining wall. The project exceeded all my expectations. Additionally, throughout the whole project both Jon and Mark were readily available to speak with whenever I needed to contact them. Further, the price was extremely competitive. When I was taking bids for the job I received estimates that were 100 to 150% higher than the price I ultimately received from Green Island Design”

“I decided to finish my basement in Briarcliff Manor in March 2019, and discovered that the village code required that I have drawings completed by a licensed architect. I got a couple of quotes locally and was surprised at the cost, being that the plans would be rather simple. Finally a contractor recommended Tomas of Botero Building Design. I contacted Tomas and scheduled an appt for him to come over and see the basement. Tomas and his father arrived right on time and were very thorough in taking measurements and explaining village codes. They also quoted me a very fair price and told me they would deliver the completed plans within a week, personally. Once I received the plans I submitted them to the village, along with my application, in order to get my permit. The building inspector did not review the plans thoroughly and would not allow me to proceed. I didn't have the technical "know How" to debate the inspector, so I called Tomas. He immediately contacted the village building inspector and had him take out the plans. He reviewed the plans with the inspector over the phone and then the inspector realized he had made a mistake. I was issued a permit and my contractors started work. A couple of times during the construction phase we needed to get some clarification about the plans, and Tomas was easy to get a hold of and gave us the answers we needed. Tomas and his father are experienced, knowledgeable, and provide an exceptional product along with exceptional customer service. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!”
