Arena Custom Construction

Arena Custom Construction is a small residential design and construction firm formed by a small close knit group of contractors headed by Architect and GC Daniel Arena. Daniel’s background is rooted in architecture where he obtained his Masters from Roger Williams University in Rhode Island. After graduation in the economic crash of 2009, Daniel took a different path out of school and instead of directly enrolling in an Architectural firm, he decided to buttress his education by involving himself in several other trades and professions closely related and beneficial to building. He worked for an energy auditing company gaining insights on efficiency and green building, he worked for a land surveyor and engineering firm getting to know how projects start out in the field. He worked at a high-end kitchen and bathroom outfit learning the finer details and guidelines on how to properly utilize our most sacred spaces. He also eventually did work at a prestigious firm in Southport where he honed in on what he learned in school. He eventually co-founded a design/build firm where he obtained the knowledge of all of the trades that go into residential and light commercial projects, and became a project manager. Daniel sometimes refers to himself as the “dirty architect” because of all of this real world experience coupled with the physical ability to execute and partake in projects as well. He always has a set of work boots and work clothes ready to jump into the work with his close network of contractors to make sure the job always stays on schedule and gets done the right way. This back and forth between the design and building worlds has allowed Daniel to execute projects with great foresight and precision. Working with Daniel is a one-stop shop with everything a building can involve from permit to punchlist.
