“Spectrum has done a full bathroom and basement renovation for us, in addition to several smaller projects including replacing all the exterior doors to the house and refinishing our front porch. The quality of the work is excellent. Communicating for the purpose of planning and providing feedback is easy due to their rapid response and liberal use of email and cell contact. They responded well to feedback regarding the work site when we had complaints about dust and so forth. The quality of their work holds up; our bathroom completed in 2008 continues to be in terrific condition. They were described by the person who referred them, an architect, very accurately. "They're not the cheapest, but they're the best." I highly recommend them.”

“We inherited a 1970's "avocado green" galley kitchen. We did the best we could with simple homeowner improvements (replaced appliances, etc) but finally had to do a remodel. After interviewing several design/build firm, with went with Anthony Wilder.
They created a design within our budget, and made some important safety upgrades that previous contractors had done incorrectly. We took out an interior wall and bumped out the back wall. We bought new high-end applicances, custom cabinets and installed hardwood floors. We also added a lovely back patio. The AWDB employees supervised every step of the remodel and made sure we were 100% satisfied.
We love our new kitchen! It's been over 2 years and we still get compliments on its design and its beauty. Best of all, the total design and craftsmanship has greatly increased the value of our home.”

“Carnemark designed and implemented two major renovations for our home. We had used other contractors in the past, but they are the first ones we ever hired back for a second project. We are already thinking about our third with Carnemark!
The first project was primarily outdoor work which was a combination of modernizing our look and fixing some water problems -- stuccoed the exterior, installed a metal roof, installed a glass and metal front door entrance and garage door, buried electric and cable wires, replaced cement driveway, installed slate and stainless steel rails at front entrance, installed new outdoor house and yard lighting and fixed a leaky basement wall.
We were so pleased with this work, that we rehired them 2 years later for an interior overhaul -- new modern kitchen, reconfigured floor plan, updated bathroom, installed stainless steel railings and steps, new lighting, new air-conditioning duct work and radiators, and new large format tile flooring throughout.”

“We have used Winn Design on two different occasions. The first, in 2007, was a project to replace the exterior doors, windows, and siding of our 1969 ranch house. As part of the project, we added a natural wood portico to the front entrance. More than 5 years later we still have people stop to take pictures and ask us who has done the construction.
In 2010 we contracted again with Winn to extend and completely remodel our kitchen. As this was our first experience with a project of this size, the design process was very daunting. However, Winn patiently worked with us over a few months through many revisions until we had a design that fit our needs and budget. During construction we went on vacation and the project manager sent us pictures and summaries on almost a daily basis so that we could keep up with the progress of the project. As the different trades came to the project we were impressed by the quality of the subcontractors Winn used. Several trades mentioned that Winn was one of their favorite companies to work with. Happy and skilled subcontractors are also key to a successful project! Renovations can be very intimidating and stressful on a marriage. We are very grateful that Winn, through their professionalism and quality of work, made the process as pleasant and successful as we might have hoped for. Now, with more than 2 years behind us, we know that we made the right choice to use them. There are many contractor horror stories out there, but you won’t have one with Winn.”
