It was then that we learned that they are general contractors of the highest caliber. This year, they invited us to style one of the kitchens they designed (and built) for a photo shoot. And it was the same thing. Amazing work. Our services certainly overlap. We design kitchens too! The point is, we know great work when we see it. “Hudson Valley Sunrooms were FABULOUS. Working with them was one of the easiest renovation projects I have ever done. Very professional, and conscientious to a fault. My sunroom was completed on time, and within budget. ( And it's BEAUTIFUL! ) One of the things that just 'knocked me out' about the company ( and there were many ) was that my sunroom was delivered ( due to trucking problems beyond their control ) at 3am !!! The OWNER of the company showed up ( at 3am ! ) and handled every bit of the unloading, and sorting, Himself. ( Did I mention that there had been an unexpected snowstorm? ) He was there. The next day ( a few hours later ) his very knowledgeable crew showed up and began putting my sunroom together. Three days later, it was DONE. I couldn't be happier. My sunroom is my favorite room in the house, and Hudson Valley Sunrooms still calls periodically to check up, as a courtesy. I'd use them again. No reservations in recommending them to others. BTW... my sunroom is one of the ones in the slideshow... the one with the gargoyle... :-)”

“Sam of Creative Carpentry & Design was a pleasure to work with. I liked him instantly, I liked that he listened to my ideas but also had great suggestions and ways to take my (somewhat disjointed!) ideas into a solid plan that addressed our needs. Sam turned our underused sunporch into an office. The space has a long narrow layout with windows covering nearly all the wall surfaces. He designed a desk unit with two work stations, plenty of storage, reworked an existing built-in bookcase to match and be more functional as well as added a closet/wardrobe size storage cabinet. It's my favorite room in the house! He has a great eye for detail and design and works tirelessly to make sure it looks exactly right. He also worked around my crazy part time work schedule coming to work on the days I was home. I would hire them again in a heart beat.”
