“I had numerous items that I needed completed. Jim completed everything on time, within the estimate he had provided and did an excellent job. If I noticed anything that I had a question about or wanted adjusted he did it without any issue or complaint and if it impacted my budget or timeline he let me know. He was also very helpful in coming up with suggestions and alternatives on how things could be done. I had him work on my barn doors - 2 doors that were on the same track. The barn doors had been installed by someone else and when the doors were together they didn’t hang straight and were only wide enough to just cover the opening, the doors were missing a door stop in the middle, so unless you stopped the doors exactly in the middle there would be a gap on one side or the other. They had also installed guides on the bottom that I did not like as they stuck out into the opening and were screwed to the hardwood floor. Jim added sections to both sides of both doors, so that it looked like it was part of the pattern of the door and was meant to be there. The addition of the sections provided the coverage for the opening that I wanted. He put in stops for both the middle and the end so that the doors would properly stop. He took off the old guides on the bottom and installed guides that were attached to the wall and didn't stick out into the opening. He also filled in the holes in the hardwood floor so that I can't tell where they had been and leveled the doors so that they hung straight. I am now very happy with my barn doors! He also installed knobs and handles on all my cabinets and drawers in the kitchen, laundry room and bathrooms. He listened to what I was looking for, offered me a couple of suggestions on the style and then installed them and they are great. He moved some towel racks and he did a great job. I can't tell on the wall where the towel rack used to be. I was very impressed with how well everything was done and would definitely use him again.”

“Josh jumped in to rescue me from a nightmare whole-house remodel for an investment property. After months of contractor battles, broken promises, delayed timelines, poor work quality, and permit and inspection issues, Josh jumped in and saved the day. He was immediately on the phone with the city inspectors until he could get answers and scheduled his sub contractors who came out immediately (often same day). They got the work done as promised, the first time, on time, and were fairly priced. Josh got the permits pulled, met the inspectors on site, and worked with them to come up with a plan to fix this disaster of a project. Honestly without his level head and expertise I would have lost my mind. And now the project is valued significantly higher than it would have to begin with because of the fixes he put into place. I can’t recommend him and his team highly enough. If you’re sick of dealing with dishonest, flaky contractors who do poor work, just save yourself and call Truth!”

“David Biek from Arcadea has worked on two projects for us. The first project was restoring a beautiful multi million dollar 4 story grey stone in Chicago. The building was a classic old building in disrepair. David's design work brought the building infastructure into the 21st. century yet he maintained the old world charm. Thanks to the remodel, the building is renting for top dollar. The second project David did for us was some remodleing at our home in Boulder. After the 2013 floods, we had some serious repairs to make on our bottom floor. David redesigned the worst, ugliest bathroom in our home and made it wonderful.The bottom floor has never looked better. You can trust David. He's careful, fair priced, thoughtful, imaginative, and always has good follow through.”
