“I found Klaus Thorsen through various local web sites with high recommendation. I needed some special shelving units and cupboards to be built in my study. The space was complex due to it being in a loft extension and my requirements were very specific. Klaus took my very rough drawings and measured up perfectly to adapt this to the actual space. The quality of his work was perfect and I am delighted with the result. As important was his attitude, which including being punctual almost to the second, being excellent to work with, ensuring not a speck of dust remained after he had finished and keeping perfectly to schedule. Indeed the only problem is that Klaus is booked up for several months in advance!! I would HIGHLY recommend him”

This is one of several jobs he's done for us now, we keep going back to him because he is both reliably brilliant at his job and the rare sort of craftsman who looks after your home without needing to be asked. We have no hesitation in recommending Simon wholeheartedly.”

“Clive was very professional whilst also be helpful and friendly. He has done a great job building some fitted cupboards and we will definitely use him again. Clive was also very tidy and insisted of cleaning and hoovering after he was finished.”

“Sandor is a master craftsman. He made us 2 bespoke tallboys to fit into a small recess. They were finished in a lovely stone colour with timber top and knobs. We are still very very pleased with them. So for individual hand crafted joinery he is a star. Melanie”

“Jeff came to have a look at few projects that we had in our new house; we were able to carry through with two projects (wardrobe sliding doors and pantry sliding doors). “I had two wardrobes installed and some shelving made. Jonathan at Refined Trades provided a excellent service. The wardrobes were bespoke and built to a high quality, the price was competitive too. Communication through out was good and he went out of his way to ensure we were happy with end result.. Highly recommend.”
