“I contracted with A Touch of Stone to install new granite counter tops in my kitchen and Quartz countertops in two bathrooms. Every person I came in contact with from this company was very nice and incredibly professional. They were genuinely concerned with making sure we were going to be happy with our countertops and would ask us questions about things we didn't think to check. After we had the kitchen counters installed, we realized we'd forgotten to request a hole for the dishwasher air gap. “We are wrapping up a large remodel job in which Fern Tile Company played a large role. I couldn't be happier with the quality of work they performed in our home. The guys are professional and easy to work with. They navigated the persnickety tile supply shop from which we bought our tile. This tile supply shop tried to make life difficult for the Fern tile setters, but these guys were too professional to fall for the traps. I really felt like the Fern crew advocated for us, then came to our home ready to make things look extraordinary. Good job, guys! I would highly recommend them...and use them in the future!”

“Excellent experience, from pre-sale to installation. Of all the firms I requested bids from, Nicole (sales at Marble City Co.) was the most efficient, most patient, most responsive sales person. She turned around bids on 6 different countertop types the same day, followed up with nice, unobtrusive emails, and was clearer on the timing of installation (which was sooner) than 2 competitors. Even the MCC price came in less (for the exact same Cambria countertop and dimensions) than Granite Expo, the cheapo place with terrible service that people seem to think they'll find a bargain. When my huge island (108x38) nearly pushed us into a second slab, the design staff worked hard to offer some options, so we altered a couple measurements and--thankfully--kept the design to a single slab. MCC was also on the phone with me numerous times to address last-minute design questions I had about the changes. Their install guys were super nice, efficient and incredibly strong; they hauled both Cambria countertops up my building's exterior stairwell in one go, no sweat. The installation team was careful with cleaning and polishing after the set and glue, and respectful of the items in the home. Just a great experience overall, and I love the Cambria design (Aberdeen) because very few people or companies have chosen it. I'd certainly only use MCC in the future for any countertop needs. I'd highly recommend Marble City Co over any regional competitor (because I got bids from over half a dozen of them) if you're in the Northern California area.”

“I hired Frank Carrera to fabricate and install a honed limestone vanity slab spanning a space with no cabinets below to support. This created some challenges that were met with a matter of fact confidence and care. The initial process of selecting stone and matching floor tile was met with a knowledgeable understanding of the materials and availability and his familiarity with the supply chain enabled the discriminating client to make choices that suited the project schedule. This is only one of numerous projects I have had Frank provide his services, and each one has met with success.”

“Jeff spent several days at my home in Danville working on three bathrooms and our kitchen. Our biggest problem was a large moldy shower enclosure in the master bath. Jeff removed the old moldy grout and cleaned the tile, regrouted with a perfect color match, recaulked the entire enclosure, and sealed everything with two coats of sealer. The job site was immaculate at all times. Jeff was incredibly professional and patient with my young children throughout the process. The job exceeded our expectations and now - months later - it is still as beautiful and clean as the day he finished. He also cleaned, caulked, and sealed two other shower enclosures for preventative maintenance. We also had Jeff remove and replace old dirty/moldy caulking at backsplashes and undermount sinks throughout the house. We have been at this home for a year and have used numerous contractors for improvements throughout. Jeff is absolutely at the top of the list for results and professionalism. The price was great as well. I highly recommend New Look Grout.”
