“in 2016 we finished a complicated renovation of a circa 1887 historic City home. We had to address serious structural issues, the treatment of previously hidden architectural features and the sensitive modification of the building to accommodate modern systems within a fixed budget. All of this work had to be approved by NYS Historic Preservation Office ("SHPO"). The project was approved on time and finished under budget because of the efforts of the skilled and experienced professionals at KCB. They have a very effective working relationship with SHPO, strong technical skills and understand how to control costs while still delivering a high quality finished product.”

“This is the third large project that we've used Louis Designs to do the architectural and design plans for. Brian is very professional and willing to work with your ideas but is also very helpful when direction is needed by the client. We ended up using three different contractors for each project and they were very pleased with the plans that were drawn up for the job and had no problem following them. Brian has always been punctual for meetings and in the completion of his drawings. He's available during the project and timely if a change needs to be done. Brian is a man of his word and works with the utmost integrity. He is always prepared and amenable with whatever the client's needs are.
