She took the time to truly understand what we wanted and made our vision a reality. From beginning until the end, she has been very professional, responsive, proactive, and being able to come up with multiple solutions to simple and complex problems we encountered during construction. Their design elements are so elegant and well matched with our concept that exceeded my expectations in many ways. Also, they did all those within the budget requirements. They were flexible in all the areas we worked. She made everything so easy and smooth. I do not even want to imagine what would happen if we have taken another route instead of working with her.”

“We worked with Kim to restore our 1920s Craftsman home in North Park. After interviewing several other architects, we knew with 100% certainty that Kim would be the perfect fit for our project. Not only did she come up with design and layout insights that we never would have thought of, she provided thoughtful, respectful and determined guidance throughout the project. She helped in every way possible... including the eventual Mills Act designation we received for the house. My husband and I are both very demanding, and high maintenance, clients, and Kim was able to keep us happy and content at all times. She's got an incredible relationships with contractors, builders and city officials. She's just the best... PERIOD. If I could give her 10 stars, I would!”

“Brewster Drafting House is a GO-TO Choice for David Michael Designs, we have worked together for years now and he is one of the most responsive and clearly talented designers around. We have since worked on countless projects and I would highly recommend him time and time again. His work is fast, clean, sharp, and on budget. He is well versed in Lumion, and SketchUp as well as Chief Architect. I can not say enough good things here, it's a no-brainer choice. Our last client told me that he was so impressed with Brewsters 3D, that his wife was not sure how we had "Built" the house before we even completed the blueprints. “We were very fortunate to find Teta Architecture and meet Allan and Amato Teta. We wanted to find an archtitect who would listen to our vision and who had the ability to translate our "dream" into reality and still maintain a targeted budget. Teta Architecture did that for us and more. Allan has great listening skills and he exceeded our expectations when he begin to "draw" our dream house. It was very exciting to meet with him during the conceptual period and see our home evolve exactly like we hoped it would. His drawing ability and his knowledge of architectural styles was a real joy to observe. Our goal was a "Hawaiian Style" home and he really nailed it for us. His father Amato was also instrumental in keeping us on track to meet our budget through "value" engineering during our design phase. His architecture and construction background was invaluable. The results were a home that was better than we envisioned at a cost to build that fell right into our targeted budget. Allan Teta is not only a great architect but a great guy! It was so nice to work with a man with passion for his architecture, but it was his concern for what we hoped to achieve in the home that made the process so easy and effortless. I cannot imagine a better experience and outcome. I think our pictures will show the story!”

“We found Nate thru out contractor. Our situation was we had a fire, which essentially was a full rebuild, full house. We knew that we wanted to add space to our house and this was the time to do it. So when we started working with Nate, the first step was really Nate learning about our wants, needs, and style. It was a very collaborative process, and one which felt intimate. You are trusting someone to learn about your family and build something which represents you, and very personal, our home. So thru the process, we all got to know one another. Nate not only designed a beautiful home for us, he was invested in seeing his design and our home come to completion. He is more than an architect, he cares about the whole thing, including the interior design and the landscape. So throughout process, it was great always having Nate yo bounce material ideas off of. He also was very clear in parts of the project on which parts of design were open for discussion and which weren't. That was helpful, because in any project, there come points where you likely have to value engineer. And we did...but he made sure that nothing that was essential was removed. Nate handled everything, conceptual design, construction drawings, working with engineering firms, submittal to city and managing comments and re-submittal, working with GC, and as noted, landscape concepts and interior design support. We love our house, our neighbors are in awe of our house. Nate had a vision much bigger than we would have ever thought of on our own...so while we felt our voice was in the design, he just enhanced it in ways we just wouldn't have thought of. And then having a great GC to deliver....we feel extremely grateful to have taken a horrible situation of losing our home and now having a custom built home. Overall, Nate is great...he will take your concept and not only make it come to life, He has big ideas, he has a strong point of view, and he cares about his clients. He is responsive, and I always felt like we were his most important client.”
