Hello! I’m Todd Brazzon, principal of Brazzon Design Studio. Thank you for visiting my b+d studio site and allowing me to introduce myself. I’ve been helping Southern California clients turn their dreams into their dream home for nearly two decades. As a boutique design firm, I dedicate personal attention to each and every client and treat you like extended family. I listen to your needs and desires while carefully reviewing your wish list and asking questions to define the ideal design solution catered to you. It’s important that I earn your trust by giving professional guidance and insight during every phase of your project. b+d studio prides itself on offering inspiring ideas and customized design solutions, whether uniquely modern, historically traditional, or an eclectic blend. Each home makes an architectural statement that is highly personalized and showcases each client’s sense of style. We presented Todd Brazzon with an almost impossible challenge, asking him to design a 6 bedroom home for us on our small, triangular shaped lot, and it had to meet our unusual design aesthetic and incorporate several universal design elements. Fortunately, Todd has an amazing combination of technical abilities and creativity. It is like he solved a Rubik’s cube puzzle and then morphed it into a beautiful, unique piece of art. And as a bonus, Todd made the design process a joy. He was patient and flexible while ensuring things kept moving forward at a good pace. We have nothing but praise for Todd’s design skills, and he is a wonderful person to work with. We can’t say enough about the great job Todd did helping us make our dream home a reality, and we give him our highest recommendation.

I wanted to do a whole home renovation with a 2nd and 3rd story addition so I interviewed several architects and chose Todd for his design expertise. He helped me take my idea and turn it into reality. This was my first time working with an architect and I enjoyed working with Todd throughout the project. I feel like I got lucky to find him because he was able to balance some of my fantasy with practicality yet deliver a project that I live in and love to this day. Todd has both great interpersonal skills as well as technical ability which makes him a pleasure to work with.

Expanding and renovating a landmark home is full of unique challenges from dealing with the city's historic review departments to maintaining the integrity of the original home. We chose Brazzon Danek architecture because they understood the nuances of the project and were sensitive to preserving the home's historic nature. The end result was a home in which it is nearly impossible to tell what was built in 1922 and what was built nearly 90 years later. Todd created an extraordinary home for my partner and I in the Sunset Cliffs neighborhood of Point Loma. He transformed a 1948 cottage into our Modernist Dream Home. His attention to finishing as well as practical details was crucial to realizing the vision of the house. Todd's team was always professional and efficient. They made dealing with San Diego City bureaucracy easy for us, which is no small feat. And they worked well with the contractors to make significant changes during the build. We loved working with him. And we love our house!

Todd Brazzon on Brazzon Danek Architecture was my second architect on my near total home remodel. I found him and his firm responsive, accountable, fun, cost conscious, available, flexible, creative. They were good listeners, good problem solvers and good team workers (liaison with contractor). i would hire them again if I had another project and have recommended them to friends, family and neighbors.

I really enjoyed working with Brazzon Danek Architecture. We did a full remodel of the house keeping only a couple of rooms and walls. They designed everything. It is the house I will die in. I highly recommend them. They walked us through the process and even filed everything with the city and handled the permit process. Once we decided on a contractor they worked with them to make sure the plans were understood and helped work out any areas of concern. Excellent, knowledgeable and very competent.
