“Curt Marwitz worked incredibly hard with us to design our SF home on 2+ acres. It was not an easy project for many reasons and due to budget constraints we had many iterations. I am the first to admit that I am not the easiest person to work with and he handled it all well. He did not just design the home and then step away. Curt was involved throughout construction and I feel this was an integral part of the project. It has been over 6 years since we did the majority of our work with Curt but I know if I called him tomorrow he would respond immediately. If you are looking for a quality architect and a quality person I would recommend you put him on the short list of people to interview.”

“Laura Hicks was a joy to work with. We have never used an architect before but decided to because we wanted a quality remodel for our outdated 1980’s ranch house. We were impressed by Laura’s professionalism, her work was excellent, her support when we were overwhelmed by design elements choices, her ability to identify our taste even when we could not articulate it. She listened to us and helped us make difficult decisions by asking us questions about what we didn’t like in the existing house. She was also honest about the prohibitive cost of some of our ideas and suggested more practical solutions. Her suggestions saved us more money than she charged us which was reasonable. Hiring her was the best decision we made. We love our house. The fact that she made the process go smoothly and timely convinced our contractors of the value of having clients work with an architect especially one like her who understands the complications of remodeling older houses. “After interviewing multiple architectural firms, we hired Markley Designs to design our custom single family home on the Colorado front range. We chose Markley Designs because it was important for us to be working directly with a lead architect throughout the design process. With other firms we interviewed, it appeared the lead architect's role would be overseeing the project, but the majority of the work would be done by someone else. The design process started by meeting with Mark to discuss basic home requirements including the location of our home, design elements, number of rooms, etc. Over the next few weeks we worked closely with Mark to design a home that truly met our high standards both functionally and aesthetically. Energy efficiency was especially important to us. Mark's Leed Certification and knowledge of green building practices were invaluable and he did a wonderful job of incorporating efficient energy design elements into our home . Mark communicated with us through every step of the design process and was always easy to reach when needed. His attention to detail and passion for his work showed every step of the way. We couldn't 'be happier!”

“We were so pleased with Brian's vision and design for our addition. Our house was built in the late 90's and was ready for a new, refreshing modern look. Brian always offered us quality service and worked with us through our whole process. This was our first time using an architect and we really needed him to guide us through our follow up steps with the city and obtaining a permit. Thanks for holding our hands! :) He's so helpful and also has recommendations for builders and structural engineer partners. Brian takes pride in his work and really listens to his clients.
