“EXACTLY WHAT WE NEEDED! Ben designed an addition to our rural fire station which increased square footage about 25%. Our funds were limited and we were constrained by statute on how we could execute the project. After 3 years of trying to figure out how to make it happen, the fire board enlisted Ben's expertise to help move the project forward. He answered our questions, checked out our options, and negotiated the building contract. We weren't able to get everything we wanted, but we got what we desperately needed: a secure vehicle bay with good personnel access and sufficient space in an addition that blends in perfectly with the existing building. Ben dealt well with the various levels of construction experience of the board members. He provided a number of cost saving suggestions that were implemented in the final design. He responded promptly to emails and board questions and requests for status reports. He met with us at the site when requested.
