“Anne Surchin was an excellent architect for our small farmhouse -style kitchen renovation in Southold. I had seen a friend's renovation by her and was impressed enough to then hire her for our kitchen. She is extremely knowledgeable about architectural styles and costs and was able to work within our means. She suggested an excellent builder who kept prices down. As a woman, she was especially mindful of my needs and comfort in the kitchen and was imaginative at suggesting ideas when I didn't have a clue. I would highly recommend Anne for those who have an appreciation of good architecture and would like an architect who has the same.”

“We worked with Alex for approx. 2 years on our project which was just completed in July 2013. We own an 1875 Carriage House that we were looking to update, renovate and expand to modern specifications. From start to finish I felt like our dream project was in good hands. We basically tore down 75% of the original structure, renovated the remaining 25% and expanded up adding a lot of second floor living space. We found it a pleasure to work with Alex and our builder found the same thing to be true. We would recommend ADL III highly. This project totaled approx. $600,000.”

“Wade Johnson of R Wade Johnson Design designed a study for me that maximizes a small space, made it attractive and fully functional, and redid the lighting so that what was a dark and rather forbidding space became inviting. I work for long hours writing and find that my study is a wonderful place to work. Wade Johnson was creative, endlessly patient with the various little changes and suggestions I made, and charming and funny in the process! A thorough-going pleasure to work with such a talented architect/designer.”
