“We used John to conceive, design and manage a total gut rehab of a garage apartment in St. Petersburg. His expertise and talents go far beyond just drawing up plans. He really made this space functional, inviting and a fun place to spend time for our friends and family, as well as enhancing its income generating potential as a rental unit. I have done several remodeling and addition projects on our residences over the years, but none went more smoothly and produced results I am as happy with as the project on which John worked. “This is a remodel with a building addition for a kitchen service areas. These plans and specifications also include a new outdoor walk in refrigerated cooler. The project also includes civil, parking and landscape design to the existing site. I am very pleased with all the excellent effort from Patty and her team members in completing this complex project. Construction will start in a few weeks and I am confident in our construction documents provided by RE&A as we move forward with breaking ground thru our final inspections. I quickly learned that an architect is the person who takes all of those ambiguous ideas that float around in your head and turns them into an executable plan. I have no idea how Meyer was able to do it but the vision we had but didn't know how to articulate, became reality. He delivered the plans and I had a moment of shock when I thought, "yes!!! “Tom Szumlic designed a wonderful house that has served us very well for the past twenty-two years. He was a great listener during the planning stages, was patient with a perfectionistic client, and came up with a functional, beautiful house for our family. We get lots of compliments and notes through our mail slot from people wanting to buy if it should ever be available, which is always nice! Frequently I think about humorous things Tom said during the planning and building, and I remember what a special experience it was. Actually, the rubber met the road recently when I had to replace a column in the breezeway that had sunk, and the contractor wondered if the foundation had failed. We pulled out the plans and saw that Tom, in his wisdom, had reinforced that area with extra concrete, so we knew we were probably only dealing with some 22-year-old rotten wood. It was an easy fix, and I was reminded once again how blessed we were to have been able to work with Tom.”

“ROJO Architecture designed our 1,850 square foot modern house in Tampa, Florida. Not only did they design the house structure, but also designed much of the interior space, including the kitchen and bathrooms. Our experience was one of dealing with truly talented professionals, in a collaborative effort, with their ultimate focus on our complete satisfaction. Although we were not so lucky with our choice of home builder, ROJO assisted us through the process by helping us to understand the important issues to focus on over the 14 months of building our house. The constant assurance given by ROJO made us feel that we were in control of a process that at times felt like the wheels had come off. Ultimately, we now reside in our amazingly wonderful house, a space that is highly designed and perfect for our lifestyle. Simply put - ROJO is excellent at what they do!!”
