“I hired these full service architects to design and oversee an addition to my house. Having had a grandchild, we needed more than two bedrooms. Andrew Reck designed a wonderful-feeling space that fits totally with the style of my house, a renovated 50's modern structure that we had renovated in 1999. He managed to find a way to incorporate a new stairway and second floor, containing two bedrooms, a bath, and a deck, that seems to have been part of the original design. He was completely on deadline, was very responsive about any questions, and is a really nice, talented person to boot. I have definite opinions about design, and he was easy to work with, convincing me to change my ideas because he had good arguments for me to do so. He also incorporated several of my ideas into the design. The space is nearly complete, and we really look forward to using it. I am very glad to have had his conceptual and practical help in this project.”

“The team at Innovative Collaborations (IC) has done a fantastic job with our project in Newton! With their guidance, we were able to maintain our house's traditional Victorian character while adding a major third-floor addition and opening up the interior to create a spacious, modern home. From the double-height entry foyer to the elegant balcony overlooking the back garden, every detail was carefully designed to look beautiful and to function well for our family. More than that, the overall flow of the house really feels and works great; it seems like a simple thing, but to get both right makes a huge impact. IC's excellent recommendations for interiors, including fixtures and finishes, helped us to give the house a modern day upgrade without losing its historic quality. It has a great transitional feel, balancing old world European elegance with simple, modern lines. This relationship carries throughout the house, from the hand-scraped dark maple floors to the simple silver Travertine marble walls. However, the master suite takes the cake. We just love this the most…from the relaxing spa bathroom and very functional marble dressing area, down to the integrated cubbies in the white stained wood walls. What more could you want! It was also convenient to have IC run the entire project -- dealing with the Historic Commission, handling the permitting, and overseeing all construction project management. Their oversight of the many contractors and vendors involved with the project ensured that the construction and finish quality came out superbly. We could not be happier with the outcome. "We met Keri as we were planning a kitchen renovation, screened-in porch addition and front porch portico addition which would require a variance from the local zoning board. Keri came over to chat, get a sense of our space, our interior design style, and review our scope of needs versus wants (something very important). We could tell immediately that Keri was able to envision what we were looking for as the end result. Keri completely re-designed (what I thought was already a great design because I did it!) our kitchen space in a creative, timeless, far more efficient design than I could ever think of.
