When we first spoke with Emily, we knew right away she would be someone to help make this massive transformation, a joy, rather than burden. From start to finish, Emily was incredible, patiently listening to our visions for the house, curating designs, textures, colors, and pieces, all based on observing and understanding our own styles. The finished result - a house, a home, that is exactly as we had envisioned, making better use of the space, while still keeping the original charm of this house. Emily was spot on with her eye…. From architectural work, to interior details, making this 10 month renovation process that much simpler, and easier. “As new house owners, we left a condo living and decided to move into a house. We ultimately decided to purchase an older house and customize it to our tastes and needs. I had used Houzz.com to source some architects to help us out. We found Robert and a few others but it was Robert that accompanied me to house inspection for one and then also accompanied me to view the house we ended up purchasing. From start to finish, he was there. We utilized Houzz.com albums to collect photos and ideas to share so he could get a better sense of our needs and wants. He managed pretty much everything from the contractors to the purchasing of items. He also has a great eye for detail so when he conducted the final walk (we were traveling) and approved it, I didn't worry about him missing anything. As new home owners new to renovation, we did go over budget and in the end, we did have to omit some of the items/detailing that we wanted which was frustrating but Robert provided us alternatives so that we could discuss and decide. In the end, with the budget issue and not having the home 100% to what we wanted, we are still very happy with the project. People who have seen the home before are amazed at the results. We are very happy to have found Robert. As non-creative home owners who have never renovated a home, we would have never come up with some of the concepts he produced. He enabled us to customize this house enough that it meets our aesthetic and functional needs. Robert is very diligent and detailed. I think he may have been too detailed for us (ha) but as a result of me giving in to him, we have a stand out master bathroom. I view our home a great learning experience into the area of renovation. I now have Robert to use as a standard.”

“We have worked with Adrienne on 2 projects and have been delighted by her professionalism. Over the past 2 years we have looked to get work done in our house 3 times. We have used Adrienne’s services twice out of 3 and can really tell the difference and the added value provided by her work over the 2 times she was involved VS not. Hiring Adrienne as your architect, you will have the confidence that you have someone planning for your space to live in, taking in consideration your lifestyle and taste. Adrienne has an eye for all the details that you (or your contractor, no matter how great) would never think of. She anticipates what will make you happy and makes practical and creative recommendations about it (from small things like the placement of a hook, of a plug , direction of your shower, or wider more structural aspects like the drawing of your cabinets, design of a shower, etc...) all these details make your everyday life much easier and they are worth every penny. Adrienne also set us right from the beginning with realistic expectations for our budget. While it costs more to use an architect's services, you’ll know everyday why it was better than not doing it and won’t regret it”

“We had a few issues due to unexpected conditions which were delaying our completion date. I called Justin and he reviewed the plan and specs, discovering some misinterpretation of a few code issues. He was not the original architect, but agreed to assist us. JPF Architects got it all sorted out for us. I plan to call and have them take the next project on from the beginning stages.”
