He is very accommodating to our likes and needs regarding interior design issues of which he is also very adept. Ignacio worked tirelessly to locate alternative acceptable products and solutions to help keep us within our budget. His positive, friendly, and accommodating personal demeanor has made the project fun and exciting for us. He has made our dream house come true. “The BIM/Design team are top notch professionals. Selecting them to design my house has by far been the best professional decision I have made in 57 years of life. My wife and I had become discouraged with our attempts to find a designer. We had a rude design from cutting and pasting different designs together. We knew what we wanted but couldn’t put it together and were discouraged with several other designers. “I would highly recommend Neel. After interviewing a handful of Austin architects, yy husband and I hired Neel (out of WImberley, TX) to help us draw plans for a small bunkhouse (~1500 sq. ft) on some property we own in the Texas hill country. We wanted to use an ICF product for the house and Neel is very well versed in drawing plans using ICF (Insulated concrete forms). The product produces a home that is not only incredibly energy efficient, the walls are over 12" thick and give a fortress like feel within a small space. The house has blown us away. Neel took a small footprint and created a truly unique space that flows so well it feels twice as big as the plans indicate. The ceilings soar close to 20 feet and he has truly gone the extra mile to help source some beautiful timbers for us to use for the ceiling, beams and porches. His involvement throughout the whole project has helped us stay on schedule and budget. It is evident that he takes great pride in his work and sees our bunkhouse as a work of art (which it is). We are so pleased and will post pictures of the entire project soon.”

“I have had the pleasure of working with Michael on a number of projects over the past 12 years. He has an incredible ability to work around obstacles (both financial and physical) to deliver plans that incorporate all of the must haves. He is patient and willing to redraft ideas until the client is in love with every part of the renovation/build. He has been beyond helpful with city approvals and the permit process and has remained fully engaged throughout the build and beyond. Michael is particularly knowledgeable about building materials and can readily recite the pros/cons of just about any stone, brick, insulation, roofing material, paint, finish, etc. that could be used. “Our builder brought KM Designs in to do the building design for our new custom home. Our lot was a bit of a challenge with a slope across a cul-de-sac triangle. We also had quite a few unique floor plan requirements due to some health challenges for two of our family members. We worked with Kim directly after our builder surveyed our wishes and needs. She visited the lot to further understand the layout and the kind of house we wanted. When we came to her office to start the design, she smiled and said "I have something". She unrolled the first design and we were "floored". We sat back to take it all in as we could see from the design that she had listened VERY WELL and put a lot of thought into laying out a floor plan that met our needs and fit the challenges of the lot. As we looked over each part, there were very few changes to get us to our optimal plan. Kim took time to understand our needs and offered suggestions and changes. She was genuinely "fun" to work with and made the process a pleasure. As we went to contract, there were more questions and a few changes but Kim was there to support us. She delivered a very nicely designed home and made the process easy.”
