“Our builder brought KM Designs in to do the building design for our new custom home. Our lot was a bit of a challenge with a slope across a cul-de-sac triangle. We also had quite a few unique floor plan requirements due to some health challenges for two of our family members. We worked with Kim directly after our builder surveyed our wishes and needs. She visited the lot to further understand the layout and the kind of house we wanted. When we came to her office to start the design, she smiled and said "I have something". She unrolled the first design and we were "floored". We sat back to take it all in as we could see from the design that she had listened VERY WELL and put a lot of thought into laying out a floor plan that met our needs and fit the challenges of the lot. As we looked over each part, there were very few changes to get us to our optimal plan. Kim took time to understand our needs and offered suggestions and changes. She was genuinely "fun" to work with and made the process a pleasure. As we went to contract, there were more questions and a few changes but Kim was there to support us. She delivered a very nicely designed home and made the process easy.”
