We have storage, open floor plan and flow which were lacking in the original home. Her idea of open shelving in our kitchen is one of my favorite features. “We hired David Benners to help us with a remodel of our old kitchen based on a recommendation of a friend in another city. His attention to details like the upper and lower 'reveal', the unusual shape of the peninsula, including a well designed hidden pantry, giving the cook a zone without interfering with other kitchen activity, emphasizing height that flows out of the living room space,etc. made a huge difference in the result. He also worked well with our contractor. He really listened to my concerns about functionality and turned them into art. He also accepted the constraints like finite amount of money and didn't complain (too much...:-) as well as didn't lose interest because of my 'eclectic' taste in furniture. In the end starting with an architect to give this project initial shape and direction pretty much cured my aversion to remodeling. It wasn't cheap, but the final value was much more than simply $$ spent. We are grateful for his artistic and professional contributions to this job.”

“We hired Josh as the architect to completely gut and remodel our house in the year 2010. We have already moved back into our new home, and we love everything about it. Josh is one of these unique young architects who always thinks outside the box. His style is to implement spaces that have simple, clean straight lines, aesthetically beautiful yet very functional. His ability to see minute details is also great. As a businessman he is on time, hard worker, respectful, honest, easy to deal with, and makes quick decisions. “Purva Design Studio was amazing in the design and build-out of our office and showroom. It was a challenging project that required a full remodel and gut of the entire space. Her knowledge of both architecture and construction led us to work with her over some of the other design firms we had interviewed. We get many compliments from our customers, and have now referred her to many other companies and friends we know who had complex new builds and remodels. Additionally, after our office, the firm also did a large remodel for our house. Once again this was pretty complex, and their ability communicate with all the contractors and sub-contractors on our site helped save us a lot of money and time. Highly recommend!”

“Pam Chapman helped us with a major residential remodel. This included taking about 3500 square feet of living space down to the studs, updating plumbing and electric, reconfiguring some of the rooms, and adding new sheetrock and finishes. The result was phenomenal. Pam thinks in three dimensions, so the finished spaces are both practical and pleasing. In addition to being creative, Pam is a genius with inches. If you think you can't possibly fit something in, she will find a way.”

“Can I just say DREAM TEAM ???? My husband and I hired Mark Domiteaux and Douglas Payne of Domiteaux + Baggett Architects, and they designed us the world's coolest house (it's called the Now Haus and can be seen on their website). The process of designing the Now Haus with Mark and Doug was so fun, so collaborative, so successful. To say that Mark is brilliant, is an understatement. To say that Doug was a fabulous design guide, keeping us safely away from anything that would destroy the integrity of the very minimalist esthetic we desired, is also an understatement. Now, 4 years after the design was done, and 3 years after the house was built, I still miss the deeply satisfying creative relationship I had with Mark and Doug, People told me, before we began the design process, that I would eventually come to hate my architects. Boy were they WRONG ! I adore my architects and cant wait to do another house with them.”
