“Tim Hagan took the smoldering remains of our burnt house and created something beautiful out of the ashes. He didn't flinch when he saw what little we had to work with, and, in a stress-filled year, managed to gently mold a beautiful house out of ashes and water. My assessment of Hagan Architects: totally professional, deeply caring, amazingly talented, delightfully innovative.”

“We have worked with Stephen Flanagan & Studio One on two significant renovation projects at our home in Atlanta. The first was a major reno & addition to a 10 year old home in the Buckhead area of Atlanta. Stephen helped us solve several major space issues and we absolutely love our house (inside & out). Spaces included new ktchen, garage conversion to den, new pool, lani & 2-story garage with a bonus room on second floor connected to house by an outdoor eating area & lanscaping. The second reno was a master bedroom/bath & a guest room & Jack/Jill bath. Again Stephan was wonderful to work with and we couldnt be happier with our new space!”

“Robert M. Cain was the architect for my home, completed in 2009. Photos are elsewhere on this site. Robert M. Cain (Bob) is a brilliant designer and superlative master of construction oversight. As the project began, he listened carefully to us and perfectly and seamlessly incorporated our desires into the house. The building is both beautiful and extremely comfortable. It is a LEED Platinum Home. It has many high performance features such as solar panels and geothermal heat pumps. Passive solar concepts are inherent in the design and allow us the be comfortable much of the year without heating or air conditioning. It has many windows and feels like it is in a forest, although the location is urban. It is a calm and cheerful house. Working with Bob and his staff was a completely delightful experience; it was satisfying in every way. Mary B.”

“Daniel Martin designed a deck that spanned the back of our house. The deck included planters, seating, multiple levels, lighting and access from the front of the house. I would describe Danny's designs as understated--a cross between Frank Lloyd Wright and the mission style. The deck was designed for heavy entertaining. He was very focused on designing the deck to fit our needs. Danny even considered natural light and the positioning of the sun on the deck throughout the day as well as designing for privacy. Danny was always open to our feedback and we made several adjustments throughout the project. I would definitely recommend Danny and would definitely hire him again He is a true professional and cared deeply about meeting our needs.”

“Could not be happier!!! Outstanding customer service, communications, and quality of work! Erika listened to our wants and needs, visited our unique home site, looked at our idea books, and then helped us design a home of our dreams! She carefully took the time to factor in the ancient oak trees around the homesite which we wanted to keep, and thoughtfully incorporated important details of architectural features we salvaged from the previous old home. She is prompt with her work and reasonably priced. Can't wait to start construction!! Also hired her to design a detached garage & cottage plan to match!”

“My family and I used Rob Koch to design a complete renovation and expansion of our summer place in Hendersonville NC. The design was fairly challenging due to the age of the existing structures and the desire to blend the expansion and the original cabin into a cohesive unit without sacrificing the traditions and unique features of the original. This was a major two-story project involving the design and building of a new kitchen, two new bedrooms, a huge recreational area/loft, two new bathrooms, a washer and dryer area, two water heater closets, and the renovation of a third bathroom and a second loft. We are now enjoying the new, expanding house with no problems. Rob did an excellent job on all aspects of the project, from helping with the conceptual vision, working with us to fit all of our plans into a limited footprint, making all of the architectural drawings which our contractor found to be outstanding, comprehensive, and clear, and he made several trips up to NC to inspect the progress of the contractor and advise us as the project moved forward. I heartily recommend Rob Koch for his architectural skills and diligence and for his ability to turn a vision into a reality.”
