The were efficient, informative, and after listening to the design perimeters came up with a design that allowed for kitchenette, bathroom, office area, and meeting area. “We are a Design/Build/General Building Construction Company that specializes in exceptionally high energy efficient framing systems (SIPs) and green building practices for residential custom homes and remodels. We searched for a Designer that had a deeper knowledge of Green Building design when we found Geoff Williams with California Home Designs. It was a plus when we learned that he had some experience with designing with SIPs. We've been building a relationship with Geoff over the past year where he helped us complete a design in progress and met with a new client for a Design/Build project coming up. “I attended Architecture School at U of O with Paul class of '83. We have been family friends since we met over 35 years ago in Eugene Oregon. We currently live 20 minutes apart in Chico, California. We have worked on several projects together and look forward to collaborating on more. Paul's construction and architecture career spans over 40 years starting in carpentering and the building trades, working his way through school and finally settling in commercial & residential field in school, institutional and residential design with Thompson Hendricks in Chico, CA, and now on his own in Chico, CA. where he is involved with various community and neighborhood planning groups including the Chico Heritage Group and various UCS Chico student design studio projects as a guest reviewer and mentor. Paul's nature is very personable and affable and he is easy to work with. He is attentive to client needs and can handle simple residential to complex commercial & school projects requiring a design team. He is fully aware and current on the California and historic building codes, the new Green Code, T24 and accessibility codes. With years of experience in the building trades, planning & design field, Paul can manage a budget and steer a client or team project through the planning, design and construction phases to completion.
