“I have had a very pleasant and yet enriching experience with Liesl in renovating an older pre-war apt. She is a very talented and artistic person and when you hear her creative ideas as you get to know her, you can understand how she has won awards. In addition to this, she is very easy to talk to and does not push herself on you in any way. Her varied and in depth experience and education affords her an ability to take on projects at any level and most styles with great success. She presents alternatives to you and lets you lead if you choose to but will take charge if so desired. This is an unusual ability in a well trained architect and it makes her a special find. It is a total metamorphosis from a stodgy older apt in good taste to a new open, light, and breathtakingly beautiful space . It is basically a modern space but we have included antiques and she can do the combining of modern with older periods which is very difficult to do well and smoothly. Liesl has expertise in the use of light and glass. She is great with color. She is modest and a gem to work with. I recommend her highly.”
