I currently work alone with low overhead. My fees are considered very reasonable Most projects have flat fees, but when starting with a "blank sheet" we may offer a flat fee for a feasibility study/ schematic design, Zoning analysis and then, once approved finalize the fee for the final plans based on the owner approved construction budget.

Geoff’s services were the best part of my home renovation. I needed to fully renovate my childhood home and add a small addition to accommodate our needs. I didn’t want to be wasteful and had a specific budget. We also had zoning challenges. Geoff was so creative with our layout and maximized the usability of our small house. He also provided us with an alternative if zoning didn’t get approved. The alternative still included everything the expanded version had, so we were covered either way. When it came to zoning, he managed everything for me and had a great relationship with the town. We got everything approved and the committee thought our ideas were great. Then when it came to construction, I was so glad I had Geoff on my side. The builders thought he was super thorough. I appreciated Geoff’s advice on what absolutely needed to get done and what didn’t, and approximate costs, etc. I felt like he was an advocate for me, and I was so appreciative of his guidance and help throughout the whole project. He’s very generous with advice and his time. We absolutely love our home. We are so grateful for our experience with Geoff and highly recommend him!

We worked with Geoff on a second floor Cape Cod remodel that included new dormers, master bathroom, closets, attic, and laundry space. We couldn’t be happier with the final results. Geoff is responsive in his communication, very thoughtful in his process, and really took the time to listen to us. It was important to us that the remodel was consistent with the original design of the house as if it were always there and Geoff was able to achieve that. He stayed true to our aesthetics without comprising the functionality of the space. We were amazed at how much more space we could get from the second floor without extending past the footprint of the house. Geoff gave us exactly what we wanted and made suggestions that lead us to a design that is perfect for us. We would recommend him.

Geoff Gogan is an experienced and knowledgeable architect, planner and most of all, a gentleman. We needed a second story house addition for our growing family, but we were unsure where to turn to and how to start the process. After searching for various architects and sitting through unsuccessful consultations, we came across Geoff by spotting his office in town. From the very first meeting he made us feel at ease and explained the whole process to us. He thoroughly and professionally carried out the building and zoning applications, attended our variance meetings, and completed the final design, planning and construction documents for our project. Upon the approval of the plans and permits, he directed us to the right contractors and service professionals for the completion of our project. We simply cannot thank Geoff enough for his services in giving us a better home for our family to live and grow in. For any project, big or small, I highly suggest to reach out to Geoff. RDL HomeDesign

We have hired and worked with Geoffrey Gogan on over 25 single house renovation ranging from simple interior renovation to add a levels to tear downs. Our most recent project consisted of six 2500+ square foot homes where he successfully handled zoning, set backs, building, electric, plumbing, HVAC, design and all other aspects. These homes were taken down to the studs and totally renovated. His design has been well received and kept costs contained within budget. He is responsible, well respected by the construction offices and easy to work with. We have referred him a number of times to friends and he has helped them all. Highly recommended and will hire for our next project

I am very happy I chose Geoff to design my home garage that had been badly damaged in a storm. He is VERY responsive. I found many times he even replied promptly on nights and weekends. He designed the garage with great detail. Even my contractor told me the plans were very good. As with any contractor, always spell out in writing what you need and expect, so that the price you receive reflects what you expect. If using an architect is new for you, as it was for me, I'd highly recommend choosing Geoff as he is very patient and wants you to get what you need. I rate him FIVE stars!

I contacted Mr. Gogan about a condo I own that needed rehab. Mr. Gogan responded very quickly and gave me a great deal of advice without asking for a retainer, or fee. He was extremely generous with his time and advice, reaching-out to permitting and other approval authorities on his own (with my OK, of course). I found/find his advice, insight, experience and initiative very valuable and reassuring. I look forward to continuing to work with him through to completion.
