“The problem we had was to find a landscape builder/gardener who was willing to help us create something special. After much research we came across Matt Larder from MGL Building and Landscape. After discussing our ideas, Matt was able to enhance these concepts to fit not only the current architecture of our home but also to work within a budget. After initial discussions, Matt came back to us with a computer drawing of the concept to which we made some minor alterations. Matt then quoted on the project and we accepted. Matt gave us a start and finish date and the project was completed in full and on time. “We are renovating our home and have chosen to do this in stages. We have dealt with Daniel and his team for the first 2 stages and Stage 3 is now nearing completion. I think that it would be self-evident to say that if we were unhappy with Stage 1, then we would not have used Daniel for Stages 2 & 3 and with Stage 4 to complete the total rebuild of our home. We knew nothing about the selection criteria for choosing a builder. In the end it came down to a personal recommendation from a work colleague. We thought that we may have worn out our welcome with the number of revised quotes that Daniel was required to do. But once the quote was finalised, then all that we needed to do was to watch our home being transformed in front of our eyes. Daniel’s team have been fabulous with a special mention to James, as Daniel’s “right hand man”. The disruption to your life while you live in a house that is being renovated can be very tiring. Daniel’s team were very respectful that we were still in the house. They were a happy bunch of tradies and this included the contractors that Daniel engaged. There has not been one person in our home that we felt uncomfortable about them being there. Our dog (a little Tenterfield terrier) can be a handful at times, particularly when she is on the other side of the fence from where all the action was taking place. James, Riley and Taylor were all “dog friendly” tradies, and this was important to us. Each day, either Daniel or James would let us know what was happening that day and advise us of the progress towards completion. At the end of each day, Daniel’s team left the house clean, tidy and secure. Finally, the quality of the workmanship has been without fault. Each stage that has been completed required no follow up or remedial work to fix problems. There can be no doubt that our final Stage 4 will be completed by Cobb & Co Projects Pty Ltd.”
