“After purchasing an existing home, we hired Holly Homes to complete renovation on the inside and the development of a luxery patio in the back of the home. The project involved the movement of walls, new drywall, paint, tile and wood flooring as well as electrical and plumming work. The project was completed in an organized and orderly fashion with all questions and concerns posed to us for proper decision making. The cost was right on budget and timeliness of project steps remained ahead of schedule. The members of Holly Homes kept the home clean and secure as we had not yet moved in. I would not hesitate to hire the professionals at Holly Homes again in the future or to recommend them to anyone for projects of all sizes and scopes.”

“Tolaris Homes built our custom home on a lot that we owned. Rick Bavec (president) personally acted as superintendent. Through conception, design and construction he was always accommodating and fair in his dealings with us and with his fine group of subcontractors. Our project was completed substantially on budget and on time. Tolaris has also been helpful since we took ownership. They have provided useful advice and assistance in dealing with the minor issues that have arisen. We got to know Rick and his wife Sherrie fairly well during the 15 months of design and construction and now consider them friends. When you can say that about someone with whom you've had a fairly large business deal I think it's a good indicator of the character of the people.”

“My wife and I had the pleasure of purchasing a Lahr home just over 1 year ago and we could not be happier with our experience. This is my third new build experience; while each was unique and consisted of both positives and challenges, this was our first where we felt like we had a lasting relationship with a builder that cared about us enjoying our forever home. Ours was not a custom build from the start, as we engaged them as they were mid-build on a spec home, but I felt they were forthright regarding what they could accommodate versus not, knowing than it was not a true custom build for us. I felt they took the time to understand us and how we would enjoy our home and incorporated that in to the remaining process, which was more than we could ever ask. Since our initial move in, they are just a phone call or email away, for both warranty and non-warranty related items. I can’t tell you how invaluable that has been, as we have had random incidents occur (not related to the construction of the home) where it was vital to have access to information only they would have. I will say that, having some experience with new construction, there are plenty of opportunities to become disappointed anytime you build a home. Schedules are fluid, communication is key, and understanding that virtually nothing is 100% perfect the first time around is a perspective clients should have in mind. It’s how the client and the builder work through these moments that defines the relationship, in my opinion. As it relates to the Lahr team, we are very pleased with our experience and look foreword to working with them again in the future (but not too soon, because we love our home!).”
