Our parent company, Miles Tinsmith and Roofing was established in 1953 by my father Stanley Miles. In 1988 another generation joined the company expanding services to general contracting, while maintaining our specialty in brownstone renovations, fine woodworking, roofing, tinsmith, masonry, and ironwork services. As professionals we take steps to protect our clients against job related liabilities by obtaining insurance and licenses. We bring our clients experienced workmanship and choose materials that are cost effective without jeopardizing product reliability and quality workmanship, at competitive rates. We also believe availability and accessibility is essential in serving our clients. This, of course, was due to the founding father who often told me: “son, in order to own the business you must know every aspect of the operation beginning as a laborer”. This philosophy proved to be wise and gave me a great start to running a successful business. Bottom line ... We guarantee our work. We built our reputation on quality and experience, and take pride in not compromising these factors in order to compete with other companies.
