Definitley prefer the suspended/ cantilevered vanity. Makes room feel much bigger. Shaviing cabinet can be recessed in the stud wall to save space

Interesting use of colour in the splashback. I bit too strong for me - we are fairly conservative. However, a more earthy/ neutral tone might break-up the mass of white.
