Wet Bar

This is a nice size wet bar. I prefer staggered floating shelves, or upper cabinets that go from the countertop to the ceiling to frame the space. I don't want cabinets that hang down from the ceiling and do not meet the countertop as are pictured here.

The spectacular overhead light makes this feel like an intentional space, not just an afterthought. It ties the design of the wet bar to the room as a whole. I like that. I am not interested in this black cabinetry and countertop or in the glass tile backsplash.

I love the look of the subtle earth tones. I also love the floating cabinets. We had these cabinets in our bathroom in our old house. They made it easy to clean the floor. The staggered floating shelves are nice, too. I realize that we have far less space than this for our design.

Nice kitchenette. It has plenty of counter space. I don't think we would need this many upper cabinets. All the mullions make it look very busy.

This shade of blue looks nice. I don't care for the busy herringbone tile or the centered shelves, suspended by pipes. However, I do like how the blue color is framing the upper space of the wet bar. It is almost like a shadowbox. I am hoping for a slightly larger, more useful space. We want a microwave/convection oven and a small fridge in our wet bar, in addition to the sink.

I like the overall look of the color pallet: blue, gold, white and wood. I do like the blue cabinetry. I might prefer wood. I just don't want the space to look too stark. I like how the upper cabinets come down to meet the countertop. I like how the tile wall is framed by blue on 3 sides. I don't like the sink pictured here because it is very small and sits above the counter. I also don't like how centered the shelves are in the space. They are swimming on the wall. I don't like the subway tile or the odd sconces.

Nice, simple design. The color scheme is peaceful. It is not a full kitchen, but a functional space for managing snacks. I want a sink, rather than a drain.
