Living Room
Rug - black white blue pink gold Seems very limiting....
Blue & White Large Oriental-Look Rug - FAVORITE Like if you love the blue...can see it with WHITE walls, WHITE sofa, with blue, white and yellow cushions...would ground your sitting/conversation area.
Blue/White - plus - very easy to add/change an accent color with pillows. Enough other color on bookcases to make room feel finished. Like
Blue/White - VERY EASY to change accent color - Same if black & white. To me, black is warmer than blue and looks better with wood colors. Like this one a lot
love this furniture arrangement WHY do you look at something that is NOT going to happen in your space? You have a sofa and two natural wicker chairs - you DO NOT have four overstuffed chairs!!!!
Nice feeling - cozy if I liked blue and white I would LOVE this room.
Feels Warm & Cozy even tho blue Hate "pinky beige" walls. And what do you mean "even though blue"...90% of what you've posted is blue/beige/white!!! YOU OBVIOUSLY LIKE BLUE.
Actually like this room
OK
Ok... would like better with lime green cushion or two.
Like it - like curtains, little pop of color OK...
Color palette is created with individual items; there is NO fabric that contains all the colors together. Don't like black chairs - should be natural The black chairs are what "make it" and what ties the color palate together - black/white/green/turquoise. Would look the same with natural rattan.
Wall Color - normally do not like blue walls, but this shade is lovely Nice
Yum - Rug makes it and it probably very expensive Rug, windows, light and the view make it.
Like the FEELING Blue walls, but everything else is white and my furniture is not all white, nor do I want it to be Then "look/feel" won't work.
Floor Lamps
Like the FEELING the view has a lot to do with it
Black & White with pop of yellow - what I originally was thinking OK...if you like it...
Like the FEELING - like the Jute rug, the drapes Like OK
Blue & White Wallpaper on one wall - white mirror Don't dislike, but looks a little formal to me
Would like this if the sofa scarf was something besides orange (like rose, yellow, turquoise, green, etc.) OK...
Like the added rose color - so little of it, could easily be replaced with Green or Yellow, etc. 4 pillows Actually like pretty well.
Something missing - not sure what - plants maybe? Darker rug? Way too beachy
Needs one more color Agree
ok blue white pale tan yellow - fabrics all disparate Feels way to busy, disconnected, and "unsoothing" to me.
Like the FEELING
Like the FEELING - Plants with blue & white. What color are the walls?
ONE yellow wall (dining room *& glass door wall) Looks modern and sterile despite warm yellow
Pretty
Blues lighting - Nice room. Don't think the walls are white- compare to table. Love the shiplap Looks a little "heavy" to me.
Blue Cream & More Love this Really? It's ok...but see how the center cushion pulls in other cushions, colors and rug?
Blue/White wood Like pretty well
Blue/White with yellow and other colors Actually really like this!
B.Cottage - blue/white tan Like OK
Blue on one wall Dining room? with center mirror and diptich on each side with other colors. Mmm... not so much
Blue/White Cozy Sitting Area Actually love this, but way too busy for your small house.
Blue White with light grey walls Like pretty well...
Really like this! And this is what I was talking about as far as colors/cushions don't have to be "matchy matchy"... unifying color is blue/white and yellow is pulled in through accessories.
A very nice yellow. You simply cannot go wrong if you use color as nature uses it. Check out my ideabook on this subject, and you’ll see how this room could have been inspired by the lowly pansy or a lily of the field. Hues of yellow mixed with shades of purple? Mother Nature says yes. My favorite so far... LOVE the yellow
**A strong, vibrant, almost acid yellow like this one gives a jolt of joy to an entry; here it effortlessly complements the red chandelier, green door and zebra rug. And just like sunshine, it’s a stand-alone color; although repetition in the room is perfectly OK, it’s not necessary. Houzz Yellow Wall & little pot Black and white zebra rug Red Chandelier, chair & Accessories Kelly Green Door Turquoise Chair Rose Upholstered Chair Beige mat on wood floor Like this, but the yellow is a little too strong even for me!
Blue and White - Blue Accent Wall Like this, but would be careful with such a strong accent wall.
LOVE this! Blue White Rose - Very cozy intimate conversation area! Perfect distance for talking, or pull up the chairs and eat or play a game. Love the three patterns. No pattern contains all the colors, but still just great! You are getting me all wrong about that every pillow/cushion has to contain exactly the same colors as all other pillows/cushions, What I am saying is you need at least ONE unifying color/pattern...I blew this photo up and it looks like there is a little blue/gray blue in the pink chairs which tie in the blue/gray sofa. Personally, I'd like to see some rose/pink on the sofa and/or white sofa with pink, rose, green, soft/slate blue cushions. Also, keep in mind of lot of the "coziness" you like is, once again, due to overstuffed furniture.
Transom windows are a bonus in any space. They allow more natural light to flow into a room and they can also extend a great outdoor view. Interior transoms are terrific because they create a more open feel to a home. With all of these rewards, transom windows don’t need to stand out in order to be fabulous. Treat them as part of the entire window (or door) by using the same trim color all the way around. For a soft glow, try a warm off-white. This will also give a boost to the natural light as it streams through exterior windows. Its' OK...like the wall color
Create serenity. For a completely seamless look, use the same white paint color for your trim, walls and built-in units. Your room will feel serene and will look extra spacious. But don’t forget to add the fun. Bring in pops of color with accessories. To keep things simple and uniform, add accessories that are all in the same color family.
Blue & White with pop of yellow & pink. Ticking also has made its way out of the bedroom and into other rooms of the house. You can use throw pillows and bedding in a wide variety of colors and prints to go with it. Its OK...
Little bland...
Happy Room 4
