Mikes Living Room
The chair works for me. The upholstered pieces look IKEA.
The sofa color is a candidate.
Waiting room at the kids dentists office? Too much on the color. Less is more.
The chairs make me think of Dr. Melfis waiting room on The Sopranos. A bit too sterile. I like the floor lamp.
Purple Rain by Prince at the Super bowl is still one of my favorite performances to watch on YouTube. I saw Prince in concert twice too. Actually 2.5 times because I went to Harlow’s for the after show party, but I couldn’t get in while he was playing. Prince could pull off that ottoman. I could not. The nested end tables are a maybe. I can’t see enough of the sofa to pass a judgment.
One of those chairs would definitely be a contender.
I could do this with the glass top if the design is right. My feet are currently up on the ottoman, so I wouldn’t do that on a glass top, but if the layout allowed room for one of the stools, then this could work.
Yes, but with a metal base.
The sofa in a different color & fabric is a candidate. The side chair, I’d pass on that.
This bench is fire!
Black leather with the buttons, I’m feeling it.
I like this low top style of coffee table, but not this table. As I’m viewing these, a stone tabletop with a metal frame keeps coming to mind. The sofa feels a bit too suburban for me. I do like the left end table.
The rug is too aggressive, the leather chair is a no for me, I’d be afraid to sit on it. Not in love with the upholstered chairs either. A bit simpler would be nice. The coffee table isn’t working for me either, first reaction was it lacked function and the style was not something I’d see being comfortable
The nested tables are growing on me. The style of the rug, maybe not the color works for me.
I don’t like that shade of green.
Other than the sofa color, I like the color palette of this room.
That sofa and that table ought to be candidates. The rug too.
Not this color in particular, but this is closer to what came to mind when you introduced the drape idea.
I’m not sold on a drape that mimics the wall color. I feel like it drops an opportunity to infuse color in a room awash in earth tones. I might be persuaded after seeing a more complete design. Don’t let go of this idea, but I’m not there yet.
Or these chairs?
Or these dining chairs?
What do you think about the dining chairs?
Yes, but the color is too light.
Yes on style, no on color. The rug is probably not the right color, but I like the style.
I like the table, especially the stone top. I like the chair, but not the color. The ottoman and sofa do not work for me at all.
The left chair reminds me of a child’s safety seat. The right chair, perhaps it’s the colors, but I’m not seeing that one my house. The lamp is cool.
I like the thinking, but I’d like a lower tabletop in the form factor.
I like the table. The chairs I do not like. I’d prefer a more minimalist style on the chairs. Let’s let the table be the star.
Conceptually like the coffee tables minus the all stainless steel look.
That rug and those stools came up when I looked at the previous saved item. I really like those pieces. The sofa color perhaps a shade or two darker, but not that sofa.
I hate the color choices, they’re too aggressive for me, but I like the pieces and the thinking.
Can I have this view out my windows? I’m afraid I’d have to go to Idaho for that house with that view. The sofa cushions are a great color. I’m not sure about the fabric. If I could make the Eames Chair work with my budget, I’d love it.
I’m going to conflict my earlier statement on this sofa. Take away the the chaise and this piece works me as just a straight sofa. This gray or a slate blue would be a great color? The coffee table is really cool too. I’m not so wild about the chair.
What about one of these Le Corbusier chairs? The chairs are so damn comfortable.
The sofa itself, no, but the color is a yes. The rug has possibilities. The chairs are a candidate. At least one chair in that cognac color for sure. The coffee table isn’t right for the vision I had, too small.
The sofa and chairs don’t add anything color wise. The rugs are conceptually aligned with where I want to style wise, but not at all color wise.
The chairs are definitely a candidate. The sofa looks like something from a newly single midlife crisis homeowner.
This whole room is very much aligned with my vision. The chair is sharp. Maybe just a lower tabletop on the coffee table.
I like the style on the coffee table, but with a lower tabletop height.
The open leg chairs and sofa interesting. The colors are too light and I’m not warm on the idea on an exact match for the sofa and chairs. The coffee table is kinda meh. The rug is meh because of the colors, but I like the concept.
So yes, the wing chairs are not good, but everything else in the room is spot on. Budget wise, the Eames Chair might be a stretch. I like the low coffee table concept. Great spot to display the coffee table books. The room would need one more splash of color somehow.
Conceptually aligned on the layout. The sofa style is interesting, but I’m thinking a non-earthy color and non velvety fabric. The leather chair is interesting. The side chairs don’t pop at all. The table is too pretty to put stuff on (like my feet haha!)
i like the coffee table and the side tables. The sofa too closely resembles the current style. I’d something more interesting for the chairs.
These stools are interesting as a decor piece and auxiliary seating.
The colors aren’t right, but I really like all of these pieces.
