The Great Room: The new custom fireplace cladding that is more refinedin detail. The fireplace now relates directly to the proportion of the adjacent windows, the firebox is trimmed in black granite to make it appear larger. The mantel is much more substantial in scale. The curtains frame the window and the fireplace in the same way. The former vault of the ceiling is furred down into a graceful curved ceiling.
