Fremantle Pool & Outdoor Area Overhaul

This Fremantle client was seeking a sub-tropical/rainforest, almost beach seaside feel in their outdoor areas. A combination of ferns, succulents, strappy leaf plants, golden cane palms and some edible fruit trees where installed. Ground covers included Dichondra – low maintenance substitute to grass which creates a softened texture – around grass pavers, in addition to Sir Walter Buffalo turf/grass.
The property is located in Fremantle on a sloping hillside, so in order to make the most of the view and the space, the Pool area also included in installation of Aluminium screening and gates underneath the pool for storage and access. Limestone blockwork, feature steps and landing stepping stones in addition to decking provided different heights and levels.
Reclaimed bricks were used for the entrance statement and mailbox which is in keeping with Fremantle’s steeped history and heritage.
