Design by UBERThe brief for this vast 6,000 ft sq space which was excavated beneath a collection of farm outbuildings and a newly joined 200 year old main farm house, was for a 'club' mood - in contrast to the calm luxury of the upstairs floors. What is not evident here (night shot) is the far side is completely exposed to natural light from a 45º sunken garden. The area contains a pool, jacuzzi, sauna, steam room, workout room, his and her luxury changing rooms, a cinema, bar - with DJ booth, dance floor and glass wine display cabinetry as well as a minor kitchen.

GuncastGuncast designed this exceptionally luxurious indoor swimming pool and spa with plenty of light flooding into the swimming pool building. The design features include green mosaic tiles, cream tile surround and an additional spa. The building housing the pool is adjacent to the house, and large doors open straight to the landscaped patio and garden. By introducing light through the roof, enables the swimming pool to take on a feel of an outdoor pool, and once all the doors have been opened, it provides a useful space for entertaining and socialising, while ensuring, when the weather turns, the pool is still a functional space.
My Ground LandscapesThis hot tub is in a protected sunken area and is a grand view point into the valley below. Even in the winter with snow on the ground, this area stays warmer than the surrounding landscape.

Working Nature LLCOld cracked aggregate decking and one of those 'pile of dog poop' sandstone waterfalls graced the outer edge of this pool. Since nobody ever got in the pool on that side, we brought lawn right up to the new cast concrete coping. The zoysia doesn't need mowing, so there's no clippings in the pool.

Neptune Swimming PoolsWe collaborated with Visioneer builders and Rob Mills Architects on this unique pool for a luxurious Toorak home.
The pool was located in the front garden, facing the road and therefore created a new challenge for our design team. This project features a rounded pool and separate round spa with luxurious finishes that act as an additional feature to the landscape. The unique sphere shaped plants surrounding the pool creates a contrast that adds dimension and colour to the relatively neutral colour palette, whilst also keeping the rounded shape that aligns with the pool and spa.
Because this is a family home, additional inclusions were considered as part of the design process, this ensures that the space not only had amazing visual features, but practical safety elements meaning that access can be more carefully controlled.
The denim penny round tiles further complimented the sphere theme of the project and provided a unique look to the space. The light colour also created a stark contrast between the greenery of the shrubs and the neutral colours of the home and surrounding Eco Outdoor Granite coping.

Intrinsic LandscapesA well-planned design was instrumental to achieving this stunning landscape in Oakleigh East, combined with bespoke materials and a top-of-the-line spa. Individual elements were carefully constructed to complete the ultimate outdoor entertainment area, but a strong native theme runs throughout the project to pull it all together.
The sprawling ironbark deck overlooks a gum tree filled reserve and boasts an impressive bar bench custom made from a reclaimed 1920’s ironbark beam with original posts and fittings. A large ironbark shelter has been constructed for the BBQ/smoker and is clad in leaf patterned laser cut screens. More screens are found behind the outdoor shower and throughout the garden which illustrate stencils of flora and even a playful platypus.
Two outstanding features of the entertainment area are the custom round hydrotherapy mineral plunge pool and mirroring stone paved fire pit seating area. They sit next to each other like yin and yang, capturing the complementary beauty of natural elements – fire, water, stone, wood.
Steps lead down to a pretty kitchen garden, set within steppers, pebbles and creeping plants in the lower area which is concealed from most other areas of the landscape.
A strategic garden lighting system brings the project to life at night. It highlights the features in the garden and creates a beautiful and inviting view from inside the house, tempting you out to enjoy the space all year long.
