Vineyard Wine CellarsIn the heart of this home in Fort Worth, Texas, sits a wine cellar in an unexpected location. Built under the main staircase, this 96-bottle cellar turns a virtually useless area into a showpiece. A large window and well-placed ambient lighting call attention to the beauty of the space. This cellar features floor-to-ceiling wine racks with satin black frames and supports and chrome storage rods for a label-forward display. The stack stone back wall matches the adjoining kitchen and sets off the wines in style. Adding a cellar under a staircase is both a cost-effective and a dramatic feature in any home.
WineHiveLocated in the basement wine cellar of actor NPH's beautiful Harlem brownstone, this WineHive is enclosed in custom wood framing, backlit with LEDs, organized by varietal, and includes both standard 750mL racking and 1.5L magnum racking. Vintage CellarsThis stunning glass enclosed modern custom wine cellar was designed and installed by Vintage Cellars. The Contemporary Custom Wine Room was fitted into an existing fireplace space, turning the visually unappealing sore thumb of the room into a magnificent show stopping centerpiece.
This modern luxury condo on the 31st floor in a downtown San Diego high-rise acted as a very interesting project for the custom wine cellar design team at Vintage Cellars. The modern wine room space has dual paned, insulated glass but because of the nature of glass itself, the cooling unit was recommended to be oversized.
The custom wine room space itself didn't have great options for venting the cooling unit due to the location on the 31st floor. The best option to vent was determined to treat the wine room as a wine cabinet, per se. The Cooling Unit, a CellarPro 1800 XTS, was placed in the ceiling, venting down cool air and circulating vented air back upward. The result works perfectly for a uniquely modern and contemporary space such as this.
This fully enclosed, glass front custom wine cellar boasts a 300 bottle capacity with a sleek, modern, label forward feel that ULTRA Wine Peg racking is known for. The center section is a double stacked full reveal display row, showcasing some of the homeowner's finer wines.
Though no particular space was made within the wine racking area, the design of this modern custom wine cellar was pushed back a couple of feet so that wine case storage could be an option between the glass front and the custom racking.
Additionally, the clean feel goes even further upon looking for the entrance into this wine cellar. The flat panel on the furthest left side opens slowly and almost magically when pushed in slightly. A great, modern touch!

Wineware Racks and Accessories LtdLarge wine room for a private home in Wimbledon, South West London UK. The room is filled with a combination of individual bottle racking, display racks, storage cubes, work surfaces and slide out shelves for case racks, all of which are made from solid oak. The wine cellar in total can store over 2500 bottles.
Le Studio / Pierre Antoine CompainThe Cordeliers cloister and its church are located within the Bordeaux Region, in the fortified city of
Saint-Émilion. Dating back from the 14th century, it is one of the town’s most emblematic and picturesque sites
(a listed UNESCO World Heritage Site). In 2017, owners and sparkling wine manufacturers decided to restore
the site, especially the ruined church from the French Revolution, and set up a grocery and wine store with
premium products. This rehabilitation project has been entrusted to Le Studio (a design studio by Pierre-Antoine
Compain). It took 3 years including the site restoration and the interior design to fully renovate the site. Le studio
decided to deal with the renovation by incorporating its own touch, a common thread to all its projects, between
modernism, spatial design and tradition. Pierre-Antoine Compain played with different parts of the church (altar,
ambulatory, choir..) to highlight its unique space. It creates an outstanding site combining limestone and trendsetting
furniture. This spatial enhancement is breaking with traditional church codes. The main issue was to combine historical
heritage and modern design while retaining the original character and style of the past. The general design of the
scenography needed to anticipate different constraints and spatial configurations of places likely to host the grocery
& wine store. The church choir provides the spectacular culmination to the principal vista. The spatial scenography
is inspired by the sacred liturgy and the theatre scene where wine is the main subject. This architectural program was
led by « Le Studio » (Pierre-Antoine Compain) in conjunction with « Architecture Patrimoine » for the site renovation.
