Bathroom flooring design help needed!

Hello everyone!

We have come across some beautiful bathroom flooring that we love, but we need some advice on the best design and layout.

The product is LVT (luxury vinyl tile) cut into 11"x3" planks. There are 2 colors, a neutral linen and a blue/green that looks great with my bathroom paint IMHO :).

I have enough of each color to do a solid color, but I think that would either be too boring, or too much color. Thoughts??

I love the green color. I would stagger them for a nice layout.

it is a question of how much work you are willing to put into it. Without cutting i suggest a pattern like drawing1.png, and looks like persp.png when you view it. But you are limited by the non-modular size of the tile. Cutting just the beige to 9x3 produces other possibilities, see the other two examples. I prefer creating a rectangular border with the blue at the perimeter to allow for the irregular shapes, closets, alcoves, and general out of squareness of the room. Then infill with a pattern like the other two drawings from a 9x3 beige.

My project is a small convenience store. The client pretty much wants to use as much space from the lot as he cant so the floor plan is just a rectangle, a simple rectangle. In front there's a covered terrace and i tried to make an entrance that can stand out. The problem right now is I dont want the roof design to be simple, but I'm having trouble with this. Im attaching the floor plan and two options for the main facade. HEEEELP! El proyecto es una tiendita pequeña. El ciente quiso utilizar el terreno al maximo, es por esto que la planta arquitectonica es rectangular, un simple rectangulo. En la fachada principal hay una terraza cubierta y trate de hacer una entrada que resalte. El problema que encuentro ahora es un diseño para el techo que no sea simple. Estoy adjuntando la planta arquitectonica y dos opciones de fachadas. AYUUDA! Mil gracias.

Hi Marina ! I think you have a place that offers a lot of design opportunities. First of all, you would have to see the direction of the sun to locate the places of stay and plan the vegetation. The best thing is that you use vegetation that absorbs the rain and does not need great maintenance and irrigation to minimize the work due to the access it presents. hi GESTION ESTETICA If you click 'edit' on the page I sent, it displays the distance in centimeters when editing the room dimensions. The closets and furniture shown in image 1 are exactly how my room is, both in dimensions and placement, right now. I plan to remodel it later, like in the second image or a different one that's more organized, as I see fit or as you may suggest.

Apologies: here's the second item - I am having a hard time with the Houzz app for some reason (once I began adding photos it was hard to further edit my post). Anyways, item #2: does anyone have any lighting ideas for this room? The easy solution is adding recessed lights (this kitchen is on the second floor and adding lights from above shouldn't be too hard with access from attic). I thought about adding maybe 3 or so pendant lights through the middle of the room (at short lengths) could be cool, but not sure how that would look/feel (Kohler Lighting 22653-PE01-BNL Artifacts 5" Wide Mini | Build.com) I think these would give off a strong amount of light (I have used similar lights from the same Kohler line in other rooms) but may seem odd in the space/not perform as well as recessed lights as far as illumination goes. I am going for somewhat of a traditional look, that has some craftsman/occasional Victorian vibes in my home. Any ideas welcome - thanks.

Great tile color choices but its all about how you will lay it out. If I go to Home Solve's suggestion, I would go for the 2nd and 4th layout. Its way much easier and looks classic.

Thanks HomeSolve! I love the 4th pattern. I agree about the irregular sizes, but since it was free I can't complain :)
