(5) comentarios@Cruca : Thank you for responding We both signed the original AND a mid-renovations updated contract, and both totalled 40.000. However, at the very end, he recognised an error on the final total, and explained that if I add up all the individual items, it totals 50.000. I understand, but he knew my budget was 40.000, and now because the work is finished, I can't even remove or reduce any of the work. It just seems unfair, because everyone could say that all the time. I trusted my builder, and as it was a printed document, I assumed all his calculations were correct!...Ver másnew kitchen

Now we need to figure out the kitchen! White tiles, black granite counters n backspash, white cabinets??? We were asked to develop a full-scale refurbishment of this detached house located in la Olivella, Barcelona. This quiet residential area is surrounded by large groups of mature pine trees that give shelter to the villas below. The house had a challenging interior configuration. The main intervention we proposed has been this glass extension at the ground floor of the house to allow for a larger kitchen and dining space inviting the light to fill its interior spaces. First of all, you would have to see the direction of the sun to locate the places of stay and plan the vegetation. The best thing is that you use vegetation that absorbs the rain and does not need great maintenance and irrigation to minimize the work due to the access it presents. hace 7 añosI have a green/grey floor tile with my grey kitchen fascias. Fortunately they are the same tiles that I had with my old kitchen that was replaced almost a year ago. Pot luck they suited my new kitchen.

We have recently finished a project which has a beautiful pewter blue shaker style kitchen with a Kashmir white granite worktop and 80 x 80 Porcelain tiles, which works very well with underfloor heating. We have also installed some smart grey radiators as an alternative to under floor heating. We strongly feel that careful selection of wall and floor finishes helps you achieve an extension full of light and space.

We are just in the process of completely renovating our downstairs and have gone for pale grey walls (F&B Ammonite) and navy / Inky blue Shaker units (Como from Zoffany) with a white marble look Quartz (Bianco Carrera from Unistone)
After a huge amount of indecision, more samples than we knew what do with and a lot of help from our designer, we nervously selected some Seasoned Limestone tiles, which we are using with a wet underfloor heating system.
The kitchen isn't finished yet but you can see some pictures of the flooring which has just been laid- the pictures really don't do it justice! It's definitely my favourite bit of the renovation so far, they are great big tiles at random sizes between 60 x 60cm and 60 x 90cm and they really make the room.
Whatever flooring you pick I highly recommend you pay lots of attention to the texture; we found a lot of colours looked quite similar but it was the quality of the finish, thickness of the tile, the texture and finish of the edges that made a huge difference to how the stones looked and the quality of the overall feel.
