We encountered some difficulty when we had a dishwasher leak that damaged adjacent floating laminate flooring in dining room. Representative advised to cut and remove part of the damaged flooring, dry up what should stay over a couple of weeks, and extend the kitchen flooring to make a small entrance offset in my dining room. The installer added a remnant of the flooring with an invisible seam. The look is even better than if there had been no water damage.
