“I was moving house and although upsizing had limited loft space. The opposite of what I had in the house I was moving out of. I have always been a hoarder and had kept literally everything from theatre programmes to bus tickets, Birthday cards and letters to school books, cuddly toys to clothes. I needed to declutter and fast and I didn’t know where to start as it was like my whole life was in these of boxes and truth be told I did not want to have to throw any of it out. Maria was amazing. What was a huge mountain to climb for me she made seem so easy. It was an extremely emotional process for me but Maria made me realise I didn’t need boxes and boxes of stuff. I have kept the very special items but now have one memory box, rather than 100! I am forever grateful as since moving I have realised all those boxes would have been a total burden and what is the point in moving into a lovely new home and taking all your junk with you only to hide it away?”

“I enlisted Chloë’s help because I had loads of stuff that I didn’t really need but I was struggling to make the decision to get rid of anything – I always find reasons not to. I like things to be clean and organised, but my house was starting to look pretty untidy, especially my home office. Chloë was brilliant at focussing my attention on the task at hand and keeping the momentum going throughout our sessions. She helped me to objectively evaluate each item and let go of those that I just didn’t need. She also advised on storage solutions for my office and worked with me to organise the room once all the clutter was gone. I love the result. “All Organised sorted out a seriously over-cluttered garage in a couple of days - Nicki and Heidi have a great, logical approach to problem-solving, and are very hardworking and easy to work with. In addition to sorting out the garage, we had put a lot of furniture and miscellaneous bits and pieces in off-site storage, which Nicki and Heidi completely sorted out - we had thought it was an impossible task. It would have taken us weeks to get through all of this, and they were great value to boot. We would recommend them unreservedly to anyone who needs a house, garage or outbuilding de-cluttered, re-organised - or emptied.”

“This was my first time using this service, I had a lovely lady Pauline who kindly helped me clear my clutter from my tiny sitting room, and helped me sort out my kitchen counters and cupboard under sink (I have way too many cloths/tea towels) during our 3 hour session. I have arthritis so it was great having an extra pair of hands. Pauline was friendly, chatty and non judgemental, I have collected a lot of stuff over the years and I do try to regularly clear clothes and other items, this has given me a kick up the derrière, I found it so nice to relax in my sitting room after all the clutter was gone. I can’t afford to pay for this service on a regular basis, but I thought I really needed the help to get me started on my decluttering mission and I’m so glad I did. I will definitely ask Pauline back in a couple of weeks/months time if I have the money. In the meantime I will try my best to donate items every time I buy something new and try to only have what I need and use. Thanks Pauline, I’m starting to love my home again x my daughter was definitely impressed and had a big smile on her face when she came home from college.”

“I asked Imogen to help me declutter and reorganise the upstairs of my cottage which serves as an open plan office and bedroom. Her calm, gently challenging approach enabled me to remain focussed, to let go of items that I no longer needed and find logical places for things I did. Her attention to labelling storage bags and boxes has meant I can now find things easily. She also brought fresh ideas to how the open space could be used more effectively, whilst ensuring the room looked clear. At all times we worked in partnership to achieve the agreed tasks which was important to me. I also found it helpful that Imogen took away the items for the Charity shop so the task was completed at the end of our agreed time together. Thank you Imogen!”

“As a fashion stylist, mum and lover of things, my house is ever growing with stuff! My ongoing challenge of decluttering suddenly became so overwhelming that I realised I needed an objective person to come to my rescue and give it a final push. I knew full well what to do but am just too attached to all my things. I was lucky enough to find Katherine in my search to book someone immediately and she was definitely the right person for me. Firstly I immediately liked her energy and personality on the phone and during our initial useful skype consult. So I knew we would get on. Decluttering is very personal and would not work as well with someone who did not understand you and your space. She came for a 4 hour blitz session and boy does time fly. So we concentrated on the main areas and then discussed ideas for the others. I cleared out 20 bags for Oxfam and she came with me in the car to do drop off which - is very handy part of her service. She is full of energy and sympathy for the task at hand and although we both worked hard I felt a sense of achievement at the end of our session. You are then inspired to keep the process going where possible. And am sure I would love to have her again to tackle my small overspilling kitchen for another much needed blitz. We accumulate so many things over the years that a decluttering session is a much needed service to breathe you new life into your space.”
