“Leslie at Austin Organizing Solutions helped us pack up nearly all the belongings in our house in order to move them to storage. It seemed a daunting task, but Leslie turned it into a manageable project. She advised us on how to buy or borrow only the materials that we needed, showed us the safest way to wrap fragile items, demonstrated how to label the boxes clearly but efficiently, and set a realistic schedule for the packing itself. By moving day, we were ready. In fact, the movers were surprised that they did not have to deal with left-over closets and kitchen cabinets, and nothing to my knowledge had to be repacked.”

“Good Vibe Dwelling has worked with me on two separate projects. The first was a major overhaul of my closet. It took about 6 hours and in the end, we had 6 full trash bags of clothes. I obviously was not the best at getting rid of things! Amy Michelle was incredibly patient with me throughout the process. She asked all the right questions to help me decide whether a particular article of clothing was something I wanted to keep in my life. I did appreciate that when she felt strongly about something, she would give her opinion. When I asked why she held that opinion, she would give me a strong answer. Amy Michelle is really knowledgeable about fashion and also knows what flatters different body types. And she says it in way that is very easy to receive. Not only did she help me that afternoon, but she really helped educate me about fashion, my body type and about living with less. I cannot believe I lived with that much stuffed into my closet! Now, I have a much easier time searching for an outfit. The second project was dealing with two rooms in my home. I recently inherited some beautiful furniture pieces along with boxes of items to sort thru. When someone you love passes, it can be difficult to go thru their things and decide what to keep and what to donate. But, it is something that has to be done, as your home cannot absorb the entirety of another household's belongings. Amy Michelle was so helpful and kind during this process. She brilliantly figured out a way to place the furniture to maximize utilization and aesthetics. She then helped me go thru the boxes, helping me decide whether I had a use for each item and a place for it. I will forever be grateful to Amy Michelle and her wonderful business, Good Vibe Dwelling.”

“I had a wonderful experience conquering my art studio with Abby. She listened to my needs, and helped me make a functional and much more clean studio space. She taught me to put things away in their proper place when finished, cause it keeps it clean, tidy, and saves me so much time not searching for misplaced tools. She helped me let go of things I had not used in years to make more space for the tools I use everyday! She helps organize you, and teaches you the tools to keep it that way!”

“Melissa has helped me make my home feel more livable. She takes the the time to address all the little details that make the difference. She has worked on every room in my home and office. After she works her magic, everything has a place. Her roll extends beyond organizing to interior design. Melissa has simplified my life and helped me design a living and working environment that is clear of clutter. No drawer is too small, or mess too big. She's confident and comfortable to work with through the process of shedding old stuff and making room. She brings order to spaces you didn't even know were in need of it. An added bonus is that she actually enjoys assembling IKEA furniture (unlike the rest of the world). I can't recommend her highly enough! She is VERY good at utilizing what is already around the house and I am always impressed by how innovative she is within the realm of reuse. Organization equals efficiency and isn't that something all of us want? It was something we definitely desired but were at a loss on how to implement. Organization is clearly Erin's happy place, and it is such fun to go through the process with her. “Ms. Placed Professional Organizing! How do I love thee? Let me count the ways... I originally met Layne (the owner) when I lived in Santa Barbara and hired her to help me organize my move to San Diego in 2009. She really streamlined the whole process while also helping me decide what I should give away or throw away which really downsized my move significantly. It was so nice to unpack in San Diego knowing I had exactly what I needed and a lot less of all the clutter I had accumulated after living in Santa Barbara for 9 years. Fast-forward 7 years later.... As a first-time mom to be, I was very overwhelmed by all that I needed to do to prepare for baby's arrival. Everyone kept asking me well into my 8th month, do you have your nursery ready yet? (I hadn't even bought or registered for a baby bed!!!!) So I decided I needed some professional help to get the nursery, myself and eventually my entire home organized before life changed completely as I knew it. After many initial consultations with local organizers here in OC, I just didn't feel comfortable with any of them. Some seemed too busy and would have to "fit me in their very busy schedules" others seemed to have a judgmental undertone as they discussed their plan to "clean up my life". So I decided to reconnect with Layne to see if she might make a trip down to OC from Santa Barbara, only to find out... She lived in Texas....nooooooooo! But I reached out to her anyway and would you believe she gave me a consult over skype (Yay!) and only charged a very reasonable travel fee to come to California?!?! (Yay!) The rest is Professional Organizing history. She came out 2 weeks later and helped me decide the best placement of all the furniture in baby's room and even helped with the decor (extra bonus wasn't expecting). Then I went ahead and hired her over the next few days for the rest of the house. She organized my kitchen cabinets and drawers, making everything in a more purposeful place for efficiency and workability, the next day she moved on to my pantry (Hooray!), the following day my husband's closet and mine. Now that baby is 4 months old, I can't help but think how much easier life was those first few months as I shuffled through the house with very little sleep and mommy brain all because everything had a meaningful place in the house and if I couldn't get it myself it was very easy to explain to my husband (who is famous for "looking" for things but never finding them) or any guests who stopped by to help out. I hope to get Layne out here again in a few months to put the cherry on top of her amazing work....THE GARAGE! Thank you Ms. Placed Professional Organizing and Layne, not sure how I would've survived post-pardom without you!”

“I’m an engineer and work from home. I was pretty apprehensive and embarrassed about letting someone come into my home office to help me organize because of the clutter. Jessica assured me that she would help me and made me at ease before she came over. At first, I thought the organizing session was going to be her de-cluttering and organizing my things. It was far better than that though. She came in and talked with me about how I currently organize, what works, and what I don’t like. Most importantly, she shared with me tips and developed a process for me to keep from gathering clutter. After we talked through these ideas, and with her help, I implemented her process for organizing paperwork, mail, design plans etc. The whole time, she would coach me and continue to ask about the process. A couple of times, she tweaked what we were doing based on my feedback. Best of all, Jessica stayed enthusiastic and encouraged me through the whole process. I never received the criticism that I initially feared. 2 weeks after Jessica’s visit, I can truly see improvement in the organization of my office, and I don’t get frustrated looking for plans or other important papers anymore.”

“I have a few rooms and spaces in my home that could only be described as......a situation. My home office had so much stuff on the floor that I could barely walk in it. The thought of clearing it out caused me so much anxiety, and I felt like I was in over my head. I couldn't stay focused, and there was just too much to do. I kept doors closed and ignored the problem as the "stuff" continued to pile up. I don't know why I didn't call Sara sooner! I thought the home office project would take DAYS, but in only 3 hours, Sara had helped me manageably sort the entire room! It was comfortable, easy, and even fun. Sara was so patient and helpful. Once that was done, we tackled other areas of my house that had become "crap catchers." Now everything has it's place, and my house feels like a home. I honestly don't think I could have done it without Sara's help and guidance. I highly recommend Sara to anyone who might need her organizing skills. It's truly worth it. I also worked with Heather at Moxie Space who is the interior designer. She helped me overcome my "commitment syndrome" with hanging decor on the wall, and gave me guidance on pulling my rooms together so they felt polished but still like "me." You guys, don't drag your feet and live in a house that makes you feel unhappy. Do something about it. Let your home be your sanctuary, not your burden. Let Moxie Space help.”

“I hired Meire to professionally organize by house that I share with my 4 year old daughter. Due to my busy schedule, I was able to clean at a bare minimum but was unhappy with the lack of organization. I had no idea at the time what a professional organizer could really do to! My house feels like a totally different place to live in -- it feels like I walked into a hotel. I cant say enough about how much easier it is to go through the linen closets, kitchen cabinets, and the clothes closets/dressers. Now that everything has a "place" it is so much easier for me to put things back where they belong and not create a new disorganized mess. My favorite part is walking in from work and not being overwhelmed. SO worth it if you need to de-clutter and get sanity back.”
