He got the certificate from the city since we decided to modify the structure a bit from the original deck. Without the modification would have kept my expense within $10,000. Before I found this company, I went through 3-4 companies, all of which had fallen short of my needs. I highly recommend this company :-)”

“I had such a great experience with PDX Deck & Fence. The owner, Jeff, charges a fair price and works alongside his two employees, whom I also liked. This isn't one of those companies where you meet someone who sounds really knowledgeable, but they send out idiots for the actual work--Jeff is there full-time. He and his employees are really nice and considerate of your needs, so it doesn't feel like an intrusion having them around. Some examples: Jeff kept the access to my garage clear even though space was tight, and he ordered smaller, staggered shipments of materials so that my driveway wasn't too crowded. He worked an extra day to replace and repair some rotten siding and flashing that he discovered after tearing off the old deck. This wasn't part of the scope of work, but he didn't charge for it. He also fixed my back door, which had nothing whatsoever to do with the project!”
