“Chris and his team were a pleasure to work with from start to finish. Always professional, tidy, and responsive. We worked with Chris over 2+ years to remove and build a large back deck and front porch (separate projects). This was throughout COVID and he was always responsive and communicated the various challenges (supply chain, pricing, etc.) that arose. From start to finish, he helped design and build the final products we desired.”

“Mike's work is second to none. He rebuilt my home's deck and exceeded my wife's and my expectations by far. His work is meticulous, taking obvious care in every detail from start to finish. We found him to be extremely consistent and always on time. Pricing wise; We were relieved to finally work with a contractor who was helping us actually 'save' versus 'spend', by offering creative solutions that provided us with a much better end result and well within budget. Working with Mike and Deck Phenom was a great experience and hope to use him again on our home addition next year. Highly recommended.”

“I bought an older home in the summer. It came with 2 sets of sliding doors that were side by side. Chris removed the doors and replaced the space with a large double door and 2 large glass side panels. The effect is perfect. Chris and his team are very talented as well as professional.”

He came on time for the consultation and on the day our deck was built. They worked quickly taking down our old deck and cleaning up as they worked. The deck looks great , we are very pleased .”

“I had my old wooden deck replaced with a much larger one made of Trex, and chose Katz contracting not because they were the lowest cost of any contractor, but because they were the lowest cost of the contractors we thought were the most reputable and professional. It was an excellent decision on our part. The quality of workmanship, co-operation and professionalism from Mark, Percy and their team was exceptional, they always came when they said they would and worked hard all the time they were there. They were very aware that they were working right outside windows and doors when my family was inside and seemed to make an effort to keep their eyes on the job and not look inside the house, which was quite comforting to my wife in particular. I really got to trust and like these guys. Morris Katz, the owner, had great follow up. I don't have much tolerance for poor customer service and it was great to see a building contractor so customer focused. Having an Engineering background I am quite detail oriented and I like to know exactly what is going to happen before it does, and Morris was great at discussing exactly what I wanted throughout the project and making the result match my expectations. My new deck looks fantastic, and I would have no hesitation at all recommending this company for similar projects.”
