They were actually very friendly and got the initial quote pretty quickly with enough visuals so that I could envision what was about to come out. What I liked about them the most is the fact that they made me feel like they really cared about my place. That was unique and in my experience that is something hard to find in Houston area as I worked with multiple contractors in my new home. “We called Kevin, of Natures Realm, to design our small backyard in Houston Heights. We wanted a small cocktail pool but we also wanted the yard to be lush with landscaping. We knew it was a tall order for such a small space, but Kevin delivered. Our backyard is now beyond what we could have ever envisioned on our own. Kevin is hands-on all the way and helps and directs you to the proper plants, lighting and accessories. We recently had a large party and the common topic of conversation seemed to be how beautiful our backyard is. Kevin is truly passionate about his craft and considers his projects to be his "babies". “My home is the showplace of my neighborhood and all the credit goes to L3 Designs. In the beginning I spoke with Lauren and her design team and described the look I was going for. Shortly thereafter I was presented with drawings, plans and estimates. When I gave the go ahead the work began and in very little time (four weeks) the exterior of my home was transformed. Now my guests drive up to the front and are greeted by a 4 foot wrought iron fence, enter through one of two gates, walk up the winding bricked pathway, pass underneath the canopy of the old growth Crepe Myrtle en route to the front porch that is accented with wrought iron columns and bordered by brick flower beds filled with Camellias and Gardenias. And that is NOT the best part. NOW the back patio is the very heart of my home and has become everyone's favorite place to gather. Lauren bricked the entire backyard including benches to sit on, added a summer kitchen with serving counters, outdoor lighting including strings of patio lights that criss cross through the trees, a bubbling fountain that fits perfectly among the Birds of Paradise, Azaleas, Lime trees, Queen Palm and antique doors used to camouflage ACs and other equipment. My guests are transported to a courtyard right out of the French Quarter in New Orleans. L3 Designs made this possible. I am very fortunate that I relinquished my "control attitude" and trusted Lauren's expertise. She took my fragmented ideas and wish list, refined them and made the vision a reality. ~ Cindy Burns”
