“From our first meeting with Tom Kusmerz, The Barn Nursery, we were sold on working with that company and looked no further. Through conversation and walking around on our property, Tom was able to create a hardscape design concept that we just loved. Our retaining wall was failing and we needed to redesign the whole thing. With his help we chose natural stone that blended well with our existing house brick and pool decking and gave us both the color and natural look we were after. Tom worked with our pool and concrete contractors so everything on our project was done in the right order and no one had to wait on someone else. With Tom's design on our retaining wall and how the base materials were installed, we were able to reduce the costs of our concrete decking repair by half of the original bid and we have a beautiful, natural looking retaining wall that will last forever. The project started and completed on time, and despite the heavy equipment and materials used for the projected, the disruption from the actual construction was minimal. “Brian and his team have done some phenomenal work us; from the design to the day-to-day work to the communication of how everything has been going, we have truly been impressed. Our front yard had been neglected for some time and needed a LOT of work. As soon as we reached out to Awad Landscapes through their website, we received a response and set up a meeting for them to check out our yard. As soon as Brian arrived, it was clear that he was a landscaping authority. He quickly let us know of any issues we had inherited (grading issues, invasive bushes, etc.). He also began to give us some ideas on the types of things we could do to improve our curb appeal. In the design phase, we gave Brian a lot of leeway for creativity. The renderings he provided were absolutely beautiful; we had NO changes to the design. He nailed it! He also let us know of the things that we could and couldn't do with the budget that we had in mind. We felt that he really wanted to work with us and was always quick to respond. When it ultimately came down to turning the design into a reality, we were even more impressed by Brian and his team's work ethic. Brian's team was working late hours, even weekends, to get all of the work done for us. Upon seeing rain in the forecast one Sunday morning, a member of Brian's team came to get some work done and cover anything that could be damaged. After the rain had come through, he came back later that day to finish the job. Truly impressive work ethic and customer service. Of course, the work itself, which included hard and softscapes, came out beautifully; even better than we had imagined! Brian used quality products and upgraded our brick pavers. He helped us absorb some of the additional costs due to unforeseen conditions and set up sprinklers for us on timers to water our sod when we were away at work. He's also been making trips up to our house every so often just to see how things are going or to add mulch in different areas to improve the look of our yard. Brian and his team have truly been a pleasure to work with. We know that we can always keep his contact information handy in the event that we have any questions or more landscaping work and we've received numerous compliments on our yard ever since.”

Especially with the owner of the company Andy Wiltberger. He is super repsonsive whether I texted, emailed or called. Andy helped us choose materials and design the project with our input. He came onsite several times to make sure things were being completed properly. His crews are experienced, professional and hard working. Seasonal pulled all the needed permits and provided me proof of insurance and workman's comp before they started.
