She is excellent at bringing home owners into the design process, capturing and enhancing each person’s desired moods or viewscapes. We had an unrealistically long wish list of cacti and flowering desert plants. Shelly incorporated them all into the final product, yielding different but integrated panoramas for each aspect of the house. Second, she produced a yard that is vibrantly alive every month of the year. A profusion of flowers evolves through the seasons, with new little pleasures popping out all the time. “I had the opportunity to work with Allen on 2 occasions. The first time was when I was building my house and wanted him to design my patio and landscaping. The patio area was small but he used every inch of the space so wisely that it actually seems large now. My landscaping was exactly what I wanted too! Planters, plants and lighting fit in and blend so well with the environment and is very pleasing to the eye. Once I saw how nice his design worked for our house my husband and I asked him to come back and add more plants and lighting and more trees because everything looked so good it made us want more.
