“We have used Sneed's Landscape design and implementation services for several paving projects and for a majoy redesign of our driveway and street entrance to the driveway. Tim Krueger's designs were extremely good for our applications and the actual installations went very well and timely. His work crews were very good, professional, and very easy to communicate with. Tim was very thorough monitoring the projects to make certain everything was going per plan as well making any small adjustments as necessary to follow the shape of the land and visual effects. Tim and his crews always listened to our questions and provided good responses to them and any of our concerns and needs. We have had such good success with Tim and the Sneed's team that we will use them for any future projects that we may want to accomplish.”

“Peggy Krapf listens to the home owner and puts together a landscape design plan that works well for our geography. She is very good incorporating the home owner's ideas and using existing plants in attempt to keep the budget under control. She is knowledgeable about plant species and was tremendously helpful with our exterior renovation. In addition, she knows most of the landscape/hardscape installers in our area and is able to match you up with the appropriate company who can deliver on the plan.”

“I had Oates Landscape Architecture upgrade and redesign my yard recently. Tony Oates planned, hired the contractor, and supervised the work. Tony even did some of the trimming himself. I was completely pleased with the results, and I would highly recommend OLA to do anyone's yard.”

“I used Outdoor Lifestyles Landscape LLC to install a brick paver patio, as well as replace my old deck boards with Trex composite material. They did a fabulous job and I highly recommend dealing with Bill Siewert. You can tell he's been in the industry for a long time and he really knows the business. We recently had a severe storm with damaging winds and I had a tree fall against my house and into my yard. Upon falling, it destroyed several landscape features in my yard and I again called Outdoor Lifestyle Landscapes. Bill Siewert returned my phone call within 20 minutes, scheduled a time to assess the damage the very next day and provided a very detailed and comprehensive estimate within an hour. The repair installation was scheduled within a reasonable time frame and the crew was courteous and respectful of my property. They cleaned up after themselves better than any other contractor I've had to date. I'd highly recommend their service!”

“I have worked with Bloomin' Gardens multiple times over the past 15 years. Kathy has advised me on the overall development of two gardens, one a suburban garden and the other is on the Mobjack Bay. She has drawn plans and supervised installations for certain phases of the projects. She has given informal plant and plan advice, as well. Kathy is creative and knowledgable. The plans she has designed and the advice she has given has withstood the test of time. She is easy to work with, quick and professional. She promptly returns telephone calls, answers questions and solves any problems that may arise. Obviously, I would highly recommend Kathy to anyone who is looking for a landscape designer.”

“Fern Hill Landscaping has been wonderful to work with! My husband and I are not much for gardening, but have about an acre of beautifully wooded land on a corner lot in a neighborhood near the James River. We needed something eye-catching yet low maintenance for our front yard, a design that would do well in shade and fit well in the neighborhood. The owner of Fern Hill took all of our concerns into consideration, guided us well in selecting plants, stones and pavers, and educated us on maintenance. We are now in phase 2 of the project, building on what the company completed last year, and will continue to work with them for the remainder of our landscaping projects! I highly recommend this company.”
